Bersa's pattern is closer to the Walther Model PP (police pistol) not PPK (detective pistol) ..... takedown is not exactly like a PPK........ PPK has no takedown lever it uses the trigger guard to retain the slide ......... basically the Bersa shares no design features other then the decocker and the basic shape. I own both a PPK and a Bersa .... the PPK is a Remarkable Piece of German Engineering finely machined and copied by most double action pistol's in someway or other for 90 years ...... and HEAVY like a rock .......... the Bersa on the other hand is a Alloy framed cheaply made knockoff that when held and cocked feels like a Airsoft toy when compared to a Walther ........ now that being said one might think I don't like the Bersa .... not so I love the little Bersa - it's light - accurate - very reliable - and very effective for a inexpensive gun its only downfall is the alloy frame that wont last as long as a steel frame ... but the weight of a steel frame would render the useless for CCW ....... so I use the Bersa for what it is - a light weight cost effective CCW thats fun to shoot
@avgguy47 did you try this mod in regards to disabling the magazine safety? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Czhc9PEqGDc.html And if you did, how was the reliability factor?
