For those complaining about the framerate and choppiness of the animation, I think it’s important for people to realize that Kentaro Miura truly was a master of his craft; both from an artistic and a narrative point of view, primarily on the former. Unlike most manga artists who tend to streamline their artistry to make it easier for animation studios to adapt, Miura-san essentially did the exact opposite by doubling down on his line work and panels, to the point where later chapters are borderline unadaptable. It’s not impossible but the animators would have to at least be in the same league as Miura just to do them justice. There’s a reason why Berserk was never adapted past the Golden Age arc, at least in terms of anime. Even something like the Lost Children would be a challenge in itself and it’s literally the next arc after the Golden Age.

hopefully they do it justice as Eclypse studio is a fan studio for the fans, lets hope they live up to their ethos, the artstyle in places looks rough but a trailer probably doesnt do it justice if its still in the refining phase

I wonder if they only plan on making the black swordsman? I know they may not want to adapt golden age because we have 2 pretty good adaptations of that arc already. But I would be fine with skipping straight into conviction. Or even seeing their version of the Golden age. Really I just want more berserk

Is that actually real because Berserk: The Black Swordsman looks like a fan made trailer and not a actually anime series or movie that coming out in 2025.
