Click bait. But to be fair, it was always Guts. Griffith isn’t even in the equation. Nothing would let her consciously choose the man who saved her from being raped to raping her after she saved his life. The thing you’re missing here is WHY she’s attached to the moonlight child. It’s not that it’s just her child. In fact, many women lost children at birth in those times which I’m surprised you didn’t mention. It’s the fact she had the kid WITH GUTS. She’s never letting go of her love for Guts pre sacrificed. The reason of her fearing Guts wasn’t accurately mentioned either. Her fear didn’t come from her time being a semi mindless child, her fear was because as she was being raped, she couldn’t help but remember Guts in the helpless position but still fighting to save her. She found the rape event to be her fault somewhat and felt weak, even though obviously is wasn’t her fault, and she feels the wrath that Guts had for Griffith and understands it which scares her. She’s not scared of Guts hurting her, she’s scared of him turning into a monster like Griffith, not scared of him just becoming a monster. In fact, I’m sold she wouldn’t mind if Griffith was destroyed in the worst of ways but she doesn’t want to lose Guts in the process. Her PTSD is just her remembering what GRIFFITH did to her, not Guts. Seeing Guts just reminded her of that day (the eclipse). I haven’t seen anywhere after she came to her senses that her fear was from something Guts did while she was in the child like state. The whole reason Guts wants to even kill Griffith is FOR Casca as well as the life Griffith stole. Not just to “get back at him”. Casca would be the only reason to keep Guts sane. My synopsis is Casca obviously stays with Guts and would never get with Griffith if her life depended on it. Griffith’s mistake is that he thinks keeping Casca is insurance but a chapter hasn’t shown what the moonlight boy will do if Casca is in that form. My gut feeling is while the moonlight boy takes over, Guts kills the rest of the Apostles while SK destroys the World Spirit tree with the sword of resonance/actuation. Doing so may prevent Griffith from retaking the body that belongs to the Moonlight boy since the moonlight boy had a physical body he already inhabited while Griffith had none. Doing so would mean Griffith would be trapped on earth with no physical body. Another option would be that Puck allows the Moonlight boy to enter his body, leaving Griffith vulnerable in an empty shell since Puck stated he has the ability. Or, Puck becomes the vessel for Griffith but allows Guts to stab him with Dragon Slayer after the tree is cut down. So, ya no man, Casca is definitely staying with Guts and Guts isn’t killing the Moonlight child.
I hope that pickles child is introduced into the Baki verse because if he were to gain the strength of pickle and the intelligence of the mother would make a very interesting individual who would be able to fight yujiro.
So overpowered, he knows your moves before you do them he can attack you in the future before you can react he can nullify all your abilities, just by seeing them and for the future he likes
Wait a minute if the incarnation ceremony allows a special being to be brought into the physical world. Could that mean King Gaiseric was his version of Griffith in the ceremony. Being brought into the world, he conquered most of it, making Falconia and imprisoning the sage. After words since ur saying that the godhand will betray Griffith. The former god hand betrayed gaiseric and allows Void to become a god hand. Since Berserk says that time is a reacurring spiral, not a circle. Just an interesting idea that I just thought of.
Hoping to see my theory that Ichigo is the next "True Quincy" confirmed.... all his friends BECAME spiritually aware over time and as HE got stronger, none were born that way, even the "fullbring" ones weren't priore to their relationship with Ichigo, and all the other fullbringers were getting attacked by Hollows/ spiritually aware from a much younger age then Chad and Orihime, and Ichigo is a Hybrid "True Quincy" closer to the soul king then Ywatch or Haschwalth so power he gives out may be more like Fullbring powers than Quincy ones... He also started displaying Quincy powers pretty much as soon as two Quincy's he hit with energy attacks ( and thus took in his spiritual power) were killed by other people, these being Ebern and Quilge. As soon as Quilge dies Ichigo began to absorb the Jail almost like he was suddenly able to absorb Reishi like a Quincy.... he couldn't absorb Quilge's reishi the way a normal Quincy would prior to his Quincy powers actually being active, so absorbing the "Jail" CAN'T be what activated them. i think Ichigo and Yhwach probably split Quilge and Eberns power 50/50 since they would have died with both of their spiritual energies in them, and after absorbing one full "Quincys" worth of powers/experience, suddenly Ichigo's use Blut like a pure blood.... like Quilge....

Remember that Guts and Casca, as anomalies - they were branded as sacrifices but survived thanks to the Skull Gigachadknight - exist as living Interstices, which means that they can do impossible stuff on willpower alone. That's the only way Guts is still alive and so strong and fast. That's also how he ALMOST managed to pierce Femto's forcefield during the Eclipse. Who knows, maybe he'll manage to do what Ganishka did - become an extremely powerful independent Apostle or even a God Hand-like being and defeat Femto and the other 4 God Hands. Remember that the 4 Kings of the World exist - beings similar in power to the God-Hand, but simpathetic to mankind: maybe they're the key to empower Guts.
not sure if im right but he had the memories even while he was a kid but you only have this ability with the attack/founding titan so doesnt that mean once you get these powers at all you get all the memories from past users and your whole life n stuff
I think everyone thinks the moon light boy needs to die to kill Griffith. It’s not the case. Nor does Casca die as stated by the author. The World Spirit tree connects the astral plane to the living. That means it’s needed for Griffith ALING WITH THE OTHER GODHAND like Slan, to live in the living world. So the question is WHERE does Griffith go when the Moonlight child takes over his own body? Remember, the Moonlight child’s body is actually his own body, not Griffith’s. Griffith entered the moonlight boy’s body with his astral body by means of the blood. It doesn’t mean evil poured into the boy. My bet is based off what was already stated. The World Spirit tree ALLOWED the Godhand to seek mortal bodies in the real world because their or Void’s plan all along was to eventually merge both. By destroying the tree, it prevents the Godhand from being on earth in mortal form. Griffith, most likely, resides in the World Spirit tree when the Moonlight Child takes back his own body. By destroying the tree while the boy takes back his body on a full moon, it may kill Griffith in return AND allow the Moonlight child to keep his true form, not the form Griffith had tainted him with. We know a few things to make this happen: Guts found out he can now harm astral forms due to his dragon slayer being able to cut astral forms such as Slan. We know SK (Skull Knight) can now cut open a portal to hell basically and anything in the path of its swing is cut in two. We know Griffith wanted all other trees cut to allow only 1 passage. We know that Slan is the only one to take a semi mortal form from goblin guts of sorts but not restrained to an actual body. Now why she did this makes sense, it prevents her from being trapped. Griffith on the other hand got greedy, but was it his idea? No, I think not. It’s possible that the idea came from Void. With Griffith trapped in a human body and with no will to change it as well as being forced out of the body, regardless of his power, it’s likely that the World Spirit tree is his only means of travel from the steal plane back into the mortal body. With that, it’s possible that even though the Godhand could predict SK coming every full moon, they couldn’t predict the Moonlight Child. That’s because Griffith, in a fit of jealousy, raped Casca AFTER he became a Godhand. This likely wasn’t suppose to happen, which made Guts so determined to kill Griffith it pushed him outside the path of fate and into cause and effect ALONG with Griffith. Usually, each Godhand, as bad as they are, have a purpose for everything they do. Griffith did not for that one act, and each act must serve a purpose based from what Void stated. In the end, during a full moon, Guts along with his companions will fight the other apostles. Zodd will switch sides, the other Godhand that took human forms will show up, SK will cut down the tree trapping Griffith with the Idea of Evil. The Godhand will be trapped in mortal bodies, Guts will be able to kill them all because at that point their mortal bodies are linked with the astral real but have no way to go back. Just like when Griffith cut off Zodd’s horn and it didn’t grow back because it was done with power that attacks both the astral and physical worlds. Just like SK and Guts’s weapons now. Guts also did not fight Griffith in top shape, nor did he dawn the berserk armor. By killing off all Godhand members one by one, the only thing left to kill would be the idea of evil.

I can see casca siding with Griffith, only if she finds out that he shares a body with the moonlight boy. I can see that being a conflict between her and Guts.
The fact that we got to see the effects of muzan aging thousands of years all while not ingesting any human flesh all within the span of a few hours (a few chapters) was one of the few cool things im really glad we got to see. Although there were SO MANY more missed opportunities for explanations & character 8nteractions that wouldve been so cool to see but we never got to see.
