When I first read to the end of the golden age arc, my friend asked me what I thought and I started the conversation with "In Griffith's defence," and they were shocked but for real "in Griffith's defence, once the eclipse started all those demons were there, even if Griffith changed his mind they were all gonna die anyway. They weren't just gonna go "no sweat fam" and fuck off. Those demons were ready for a feast and nothing was going to stop that."

So happy you're doing these (somewhat) shorter arc videos, as well as the movie-length videos! 😍 Golden Age is some of the best storytelling I've ever read, regardless of format. So good, in fact, that I had to take a break from Berserk after finishing Lost Children, because I was so hung up on Golden Age that I couldn't fully appreciate the new arcs! 😅

I think till the moment he sacrificed everyone, there was good in him. Femto and Griffith are very different people, Femto was born when most of his humanity was ripped away. Though even after sacrificing so many, there is still some humanity left in him, what he did to Guts and Casca was petty and personal, to a godly being that would've been beneath him to even notice them as he said in last arc

Gavin have you seen the memorial edition of Berserk in crunchyroll, the bonfire of dreams has been beautifully adapted, it is accompanied a song by Susumu Hirasawa. His other song Indra is also really beautiful and it seems to be a prayer for guts.
