Ronson doesn't get talked about the way he deserves to be. He came up with so many great riffs and solos. I believe Bowie would've succeeded, one way or another, but we would've never gotten so many of those great songs from the early 70s in all their Sonic glory.

I saw him play All the Young Dudes with Ian Hunter. He wasn't supposed to have been playing on that tour, but he stepped in to replace the keyboard player after a he had suffered a brain aneurysm. Ian wrote two songs about Mick; Another Fine Mess, from Mick's POV, and the moving tribute, Michael Picasso.

After all these years, , , Mick Ronson remains my all time favorite guitarist in rock history. . Shame Mick got back so little from building what was to come of Mr. Bowie's brilliant career. David Bowie & his management shamefully sold Mr. Ronson short after Mick & 'Spiders From Mars' set their mark as the greatest live band ever. .

Same as me. Just a while ago, I've been motivated to play guitar (I'm a drummer) because of him. Most people usually get into guitar by the likes of Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, etc. While I do agree three of them are awesome, I prefer someone like Beck, Ronson, Albert King, and mainly blues guitarists

Of course Ronson, Woody and Bolder didn't get the credit they deserved. Ronson worked on Bowie's earlier work and created the amazing arrangement for Life On Mars?. But he wasn't credited!!! Bowie chewed and spat them out after the Spiders work. Only fired them on stage for shock value. They deserved better in my opinion.

3 years in albums though 70 - 73 and he also wrote a number of the arrangements for Diamond Dogs and made Bowie look cool. Great guitarist and also piano on Five Years. His final solo was on My baby is a headf**k by The Wildhearts and talk about a solo to elevate a song it's a monster. He had to be one of the nicest guys to get fired at Hammersmith and then when the call came for Pin Ups said yeah no problem because most people would have said f**k off.

Ah! bowakawa pousse pousse I wouldn’t say her claims are all ridiculous. She was someone who was doing all the things behind the scenes, taking care of details which free someone like Bowie up to focus on their creative output instead of paying the utilities bill or making sure the band has something to eat or any number of distractions. She also seems to have had a hand in some of the wardrobe decisions etc. So she wasn’t someone who wrote songs or played on his albums, but she most definitely was a big part of the support network that help nurture and sustain him before he became famous.
