Envious here of you having seven record stores in your area. I have to drive 40-50 minutes north or south to find just one proper shop. Occasionally, I'll run into something in a local antique shop but would love a few record stores in my town. I always enjoy seeing your finds.
Man, we've discussed this before, on the Discord but I'm in awe of the treasure trove Charlotte has become! I lived there back in '10-'12 and the only game in town was Lunchbox. I found some cool things there that I still hold dear. Nice finds , Dave !
Glad to see this come thru, a mid year update is very much needed from you. Some I did not know you got, perhaps I missed it on the IG but regardless...the Ribiero + Alpes, VU, Moondog, Hawkwind and Jeanne Lee I did know about and happy to have some of those. Essential records really. Same goes for the Bradford / Carter and that Mittoo. Amazing stuff though missing that Mittoo, have a bunch. I should show them some time, never have. Will have to give a stream to that Seikatsu Kojyo, sounds up my street. and damn that lineup on the Kuhn on BYG. I need to get down to those shops. Also a copy of that Michael White was just ordered today, wanted that one. Cool to see you now show it. And I endorse that, and all, Fahey. Always.
Just skimmed through this one Dave. Once again. You found some amazing records once again. Soundgarden. Nice grab. I will recap later on this evening. I am amazed at the prices of some of the Velvet Underground stuff. I remember seeing them for under twenty dollars and they were always around. Especially "VU & Nico". With the banana intact you could get it for under $50 in the eighties. Crazy how much they are now. Anyways. Catch up later on~ Rob/Boston
So Jim had that Moon Dog album for quite awhile Dave. I listened to it a few times but just could not get into it. Finally a dealer from Detroit came up, saw it and traded for it. An OG of that Soundgarden, wow. Right price is tough on those albums. About time on VU, I just totally love that band. Loaded was Reeds last ditch effort to become popular. It seriously is loaded with hits but no one cared. You have moved from African to reggae now, I’m not coming along with you for that ride haha. I got that Allen’s PF album also, very weird That was a butt load of records Dave

That Pink Floyd bootleg is fantastic. I think the movie Blow Up is over rated. I’ve never listened to the soundtrack. Herbie Hancock is a favorite. I need to check out Swains.
