Two small cap is not required, have higher weightage to index fund. My choice would be index fund 30%, flexi cap 20%, emerging Blue chip 20%, small cap 15%, midcap 15%

Choose either index or flexi because flexicaps are baised to large cap. So you might have more allocation in large cap. My suggestion would be Large and midcap Small cap Value fund

Index funds are always good for beginners and new investors. It's safe and low risk funds. To be honest, Yes, little low return, but doesn't matter.. You will get good returns than FDs. 10 to 14% returns all time.. Go for index funds. 💯👍

I really appreciate your informative no nonsense videos on mf. I have a request - I always wanted to know more about the mutual fund managers. I see that most MF managers are relatively young guys and handling thousands of crores. How do they actually function? Do they have reaearch teams? What is their methodology of portfolio management? This becomes relevant in view of the recent news on front running.

@@satisfiedbuddy457 your age is 23 that means you have recently started earning my suggestion to you is before making any investment make sure you have these things Term Insurance Medical Insurance Emergency Funds Once you have all these make sure you have invested in debt funds Bonds, fd, Rd etc this give you fixed returns whatever market state is After all these, if you have any money left, then invest in Mutual Funds (not saying stocks because you're a salaried person) I know we get easily influenced by these videos but bro it's your hard earned money, invest carefully...

One must not invest all the money in equity market. Time will come when equity will not perform well. Therefore one must include multiassest, aggressive hybrid and balanced advantage funds..
Last mnth only 1 took 3 mf after much research and followed ur channel too for that and yes to my surprise m am investing in these three only and Nippon is doing far better than others...I am happy I chose the right mf and in right category...1 nifty 50..1 flexi and 1 small cap..😊

If you had done proper research then you would not have invested in an index fund and a flexi cap fund with big aum which in fact is a pseudo large cap fund

Guys I want to tell everyone that I am invested for over 12 years and have a portfolio of more than 8 digits have done studies on mutual funds. Please buy index funds for small, mid , large and in flexi cap. I can bet no one can ever beat index funds in any category.
@@mdamjad8516 All these funds in sometime will have fund manager changed and then what is good today will be bad tomorrow but Index will always go up it’s a computer.
Why don’t you mention Axis Small Cap Fund. IT has lower turnover ratio i.e. 2% than nippon and sbi. It has beta of 0.69 that is lower than both nippon and sbi. It has provided more returns than SBI small cap. Can you please explain it would be helpful if i get to know the reason if any specific which we don’t know. Please aware us.

2 small cap funds is unnecessary. make 9000 in midcap and 9000 in small cap. discard sbi small cap fund & continue with nippon small cap. Hope it was clear.
