The Nidecker Thruster is one of the best snowboards I have ever ridden! It destroys everything you can find. I highly recommend this snowboard for BIG MOUNTAIN snowboarding. You can pick one up here: bit.ly/3t4cFcg
I have shedded on Neidecker boards since '96. I've had a pro pipe "55" that rips on everything i threw at it. In 2019 i bought an Area 161 cruiser board. Its great! I think I'm going to get a thruster to take with me now
Johnathan that board seems awesome. I'm sure the high degree of versatility you have as a rider lets you get the most out of it! Thanks for sharing...hoping to be at your riding level one day bro...being able to hit any terrain I can dream of! You're seriously an inspiration to us all!
I rode the Thruster at a demo day hosted at Loveland based on this review. Awesome company. It’s such a beast . Picking one up for ‘24. The gear reviews are helpful. Keep Evolving.
Debating between the Nidecker Thruster, Jones Stratus, Yes Pyzel and Capita Mega Merc. Currently riding the regular Capita Mercury and want something more aggressive/advanced. Thanks for the board review!
Hey there! I’m currently looking at possibly getting a thruster myself, I’m just wondering how well it does when it comes to chunder and rough terrain? I’m also working my way up to double blacks this season, would this be a good board to progress with for that? Thanks!
I got mine yesterday, but here is the problem i am facing. I am 5'4, 160LB. I got the 153cm board. will it be too long for me to control? and the binding i am using is small clew, but it recommend M. The snow season in NY is done. ended. cant try until next year.
Hey dude, nice review. You say stiff board but the current 2025 model says mid-soft on their website. Did that change then? I prefer stiffer boards for sure.
