No Matter What Combat Aircraft it is, The Best Afterburner Sound makes the Mirage 2000 MiG 29 Fulcrum F-16 Eurofighter Typhoon And Of Course the Saab 35 Draken, But The F-4F Phantom II here in Germany has also made a Really Great Afterburner Sound 👍The F-18 Hornet is also very loud with the Afterburner, Greetings from Germany!
I've seen some air demonstrations in Kavala Air-Sea Show of the F-16 @3:57, my whole body shivered each time it passed above my head. I will have to upload some videos someday.
The JAS 39 is one of my favourites since it looks similar to the Eurofighter which we have here in Germany and i've always loved it both design- and soundwise. But no jet engine beats the good old A-10 BRRRRRRRT 😉
Yes, i know. But thats what makes the A-10 so unique. The engine is very nice indeed, yes, but i was talking about the gatling gun. I know, i was comparing a gatling gun to jet engines but its still better or equally as good as some if not most afterburner sounds.
when i was young i went to an air show in hungary near budapest, i saw mig21, f16, tornado, frecce tricolori etc but the f15 sound was like a punch in the eardrum
The RM12 and GE F404 has a really nice sound! Have heard and seen both JAS-39 and F-18 irl. Tho I believe the RM-8 on full thrust is slightly more bassy than RM-12 and GE F404. The RM-8 is not on full power during displays nowadays thanks to old pilots. But when I was younger and the Viggen was still in service the displays with Viggen was MUCH louder! =) Still, I love ALL jetnoise! And hey man, you should definataly upload the Ramex Delta display! :O Looks really cool!

Saw many loud jets at Airshows I remember Waddington '01, there was many fast loud jets, Tornados, F15s, F 16s, the Mig 29s noise made them pale in significance. Set all the car alarms off, and the Polish pilot was amazing, always using negative G for almost every turn.

Yup, was waiting for viggen to break them all. Wouldn't suprice me if it was a viggen I heard on the runway yesterday evening. All the windows was shaking. Love it 😍.
