I just love your last statement,, celebrity advertised products is not a guarantee they are active or will work.i have always known that those celebrities do not use any of those products they advertise
I agree that celebrity skin care is crap. I should know I'm a skin care expert!! Drug stores are far better, especially in Europe where I'm from. Thanks for educating the masses.
Thank you so much for telling people, especially darker tones, such as myself, to not use Glycolic acid on their face! I get so tired of people recommending that to women of color and it burns their face! I had to find that out the hard way from a black owned skincare line with a 7% glycolic acid serum. Thank you so much ❤
I had also tried glycolic acid serum from ordinary and it burned my hyperpigmentation spots so badly that it made them darker and burned my skin deeper down. I had to use polysporin to heal the new sores it caused and now 2 years later the spots are starting to fade. A pimple that was healing became a dark spot that was still healing and putting glycolic acid caused the problem to worsen due to the serum going further down into my skin. Causing a deeper scar and sensitivity to my face. I'm 45 years old and had clear skin my whole life until I stopped wearing makeup and noticed dark spots. I tried to erase and caused more problems such as dry skin and sensitivity and my face is darker than the rest of my body. The dark spits also got darker that makeup won't cover.
Hello, I’m so confused now. A trusted dermatologist recommended glycolic acid for my pregnancy hyperpigmentation. It has 10% glycolic acid and 2% phytic acid, so far I’ve noticed my face is smoother and not so dull and very glossy when I apply my moisturizer and sunscreen. She told me it will take a while to clear the hyperpigmentation but I should stick to just using 3 days a week and work up gradually till I start doing everyday if it’s ok. I’ve been hearing glycolic acid is not good for dark skin so do I stop even though I have no bad reaction? Where you using it everyday right from the start?
You're glowing. I'm white, can you make a batch for me? Absolutely beautiful results. I've been looking for something like this. Maybe you'll be the next Madam Walker?
I went to the dermatologist to get a cream for my acne a while back and they prescribed tretinoin. It was pricey but It worked and cleared up my skin really fast and had no need to use it after that with a bunch of it left. Then i found out that you could use it as an anti aging cream so now its a part of my skin regimen specifically for that. Its definitely the good stuff 100%
Hey, thanks so much for sharing that. I've been struggling with my acne as well and I've been looking around to find something that works for my skin. I would just like to know what type of tretinoin were you prescribed and to how extreme was your acne?
@@alexiadaniel4585 hi there! I struggled as well before i gave in and went to the doctor lol. I always preferred the natural organic skin care products which never worked for me. But the doctor started me off with the 0.025% and would prescribe a higher dose if it didn’t work. It wasn’t bad but it was definitely noticeable. So i guess the doctor would just evaluate your skin and prescribe what makes since for your severity. I went in thinking i had some type of breakout or eczema and was told i had comedonal acne lol which i had never heard of until then
Absolutely wonderful info..........thank you doing your research , which is so important . My face is presently in a total mess, just work all the time and I constantly gets a breakout each month the same week my period is due since I was a kid and it still plagues me as an adult ........GREAT VIDEO sweetie.❤️❤️❤️
Haha 😂 The expression that followed "God help us" part got me 😁 I like the way you summarised your teaching and how factual you are... Truly most of these things are just selling names to us. You just got a new subscriber 😉
Hello and thank you for your consistent work. I follow you and dont comment frequently. But I wanted to let People know that you have posted a nice and detailed video about sunscreens (maybe you could Link it as well). You are one of the RU-vidrs who convinced me to start using sunscreens and I picked up one you advised among others last year. Thank you for your videos🥰
You are very welcomed ☺️. I have 3 videos on sunscreen I will add it to the skincare playlist and I will try to list them in the description of this video as well
I agree Glycolic acid is not good for dark skin on the face. It damaged my skin years ago at 5% causing hyperpigmentation. I actually love mandelic and PHA much gentler and brightens. Vitamin A and SPF are what is needed, I love vitamin c as well
I have a texture similar to your before. I tried adalpalene for nearly a year but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. I wish I could buy tretinoin over the counter. You’re right about glycolic acid causing hyperpigmentation!
Nope keep doing adapelene, results are not in 1 week or 1 month. it can take time, even 6 months to seee results. do not give up , be patient. my face was not like that. i was patient
This totally makes sense! I have noticed that my body and face became darker after I began using lactic acid. Does stopping the use reverse the hyperpigmentation?
I am from Papua New Guinea🇵🇬. In the highest mountain full limestone. When sun comes... my beautiful face burn and turn or look old at this age. Thanks for video you share. That should help.
Thank you so much for this video and for introducing this sunscreen. I have never used it. I will start using it now, but can one use it and then apply foundation or face powder afterwards? Thx
I noticed you had a mid cheek line before and now it's hardly noticebly is it the picture or did you use something specifically that helped your results look fab thanks for sharing :)
She had deep nasal lines. It could have been the products she was using, diet or even the way she sleeps. If you lye on the side of your face you will cause nasal lines to appear.
YOU NEEED VITAMIN (J) JESUS THE LORD BEST VITAMIN NONE TO COMPARE.YOUR GONNA NEEED THAT VITAMIN J IN WHOLE TO GET TO HEAVEN FOR WITH J VITAMIN YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE NO AGING
You are right. It's not "reverse anti aging". It's "reverse aging". Clearly English is her second language so she has an excuse. The products in her message are still beneficial.
Thank you soooooooo much for the knowledge shared. But about the Sunscreen. The name is Sunscreen, so if I'm in my house from Morning till night without being under the Sun, I don't think I need a Sunscreen.
Great Question. A complete morning routine and night time routine is coming. Because its hard to explain just like that.. please stay tuned for the next video
Hi there ,thanks for sharing. A. wondering how best I can apply these products? I don't know which one should come first and last. My acne is killing serious...I need your help please.
Lyna I did post 2 videos after this video. The links are in the description where I show products I used in the morning and at night and how I use them. Please take the time and watch those videos because it shows what comes first and last
Hello and thank you for your work, please which face cream can you recommend for me am 32 but my face looks way older than my age, looks like a 50+ old woman . Please help a distress sister

I have been using tretinoin 0.1% for over a year with azelaic acid and sunscreen to fade my Very old post inflammatory hyperpigmentation but with no luck , it’s dark as ever and I’m coming out in more pigmentation, I am dark Asian skinned type 4 , what is going on
Okay I see all the recommendations to use. Which one do you start applying on your face? I usually use a toner followed by serum and then a moisturizer. So with the recommended products the only one I wasn't using everyday was sunscreen and I'm dark skinned. I don't want to use a product that's going to change my skin color. Thank you for your advice 🙏
The before picture looks like when i have an allergic reaction to latex. I remember going to the hospital and the doctor didn't understand the problem and couldn't see anything. I kept telling him, "My face doesn't look like this!" He didn't seem to believe me and just assumed i was ugly. This was before i had a cellphone so i couldn't show him a picture. I don't remember how the visit ended.
Look online.. Watch my other videos (Link in the description of the video) to see the exact products I use. And you can find the links of those products too
So can all these things be in one routine- tretinoin and mandelic acid? Like cleanser then tretinoin then mandelic acid then moisturiser the sunscreen?
