1. Cleanse 2. Spray rose water on face 3. Apply simple face moisturizer 4. Apply tretinoine 0.05 5. Apply simple face moisturizer (rich) 6. Sleep 😴 That's my night routine ❤️ no purging 😘
this is so true - I used prescribed tret for a number of years and then suddenly my skin started to react and hate every product I applied. My skin was super dehydrated and skin barrier was damaged. I now make sure to prep my skin with moisture before applying tret.

Rosehip oil is what I use. 100% Pure and natural therapeutic grade carrier oil is a natural vitamin A source. I use it it as a moisturizer on my face and neck. Being a carrier oil, you can mix it in whatever lotions or other oils you like. But, I use it directly on my face, neck and really great on my hands. Just a few drops in the palm of my hands goes a long way. Way better than those expensive chemical retinol products. Just my opinion of what works for me.
You had me at filing the nails! SUBSCRIBED! Here b4 I fill my 1st Tretinoin 0.1% prescription. Won't be applying until I watch "ALL" the videos, sis! And, your hair is lovely.🥰
Well, one thing people have to stop doing is shooting for the highest percentage that’s allowed start off low especially if you don’t have acne. There’s no point in no need for you to have 0.1% Trent knowing starting off there’s no way if you don’t have my asthma or very bad acne where you see those people it’s all over their face and on their cheeks they are the ones who need that 0.1%.
Thank you so much 🙏🏽 I just starting using vitamin A and noticed my skin getting darker and was wondering what was happening 👀 but now I know thanks to you. I will be using my sunscreen from now on. And only apply my vitamin A at night with lots of moisturiser
Hello there xx Thank you so much for your explanation but now I’m a bit confused. I’m currently treating hyperpigmentation as well as trying to fix my skin barrier. My skincare person recommend Tretinoin 0.05%. It’s my first time using it and I’ve a dry skin. She recommended that I use it every other day but twice in a week, however, after cleansing and toning, I was told to go in with Tretinoin, then hydroquinone( because I’m treating hyperpigmentation) and then go in with my moisturizer. The side effects i’ve experienced so far is peeling, dryness ( so I’ve had to double up with my moisturizer. I also never forget to wear sunscreen during the day) and lately it’s been rashes. I noticed most people talk about peeling and not rashes so I want to know if this is normal. Also, do you think this is due to going in with Tretinoin before a moisturizer ? What do you recommend I do please ? Do I mix my moisturizer and Tretinoin like In this video or I mix the hydroquinone and Tretinoin and then go with my moisturizer to finish ? I’ll appreciate your response immensely. Hopefully you see this.
I would say please watch my other videos on Tretinoin 101. I don't know if your skin was used to tretinoin before. It never recommended to use an additional treatment ontop of tretinoin like Hydroquinone. You can use Hydroquinone on its own without tretinoin. Tretinoin is a beast... I recommend you apply moisturizer before your tretinoin because you experiencing side effects. Know that if you skin barrier is not good, your hyperpigmentation will be worse. Fix your skin barrier first, then do tretinoin. If it was your first time using tretinoin, I recommend dropping hydroquinone and use tretinoin only until your skin get used to it. Remember, when you start with hydroquinone, you have to continue... Hydroquinone is my last resort or when a case is worse. FYI: you can't fix your skin barrier and hyperpigmentation at the same time. videos to watch : Tretinoin 101 part 1: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RRaQgY36tdQ.htmlsi=mDGN2pQP0XT8Yu7G skin barrier fix : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qOY7QtZdxyg.htmlsi=HmGGlv_AGWicHG49
Thank you so much Josi. It's been two months since I started my skin care routine ever. I'm 38 and I have been doing nothing, and one of my new year's resolutions was to take care of my skin. Before I started I did my research and I found you. What I can say is that all is going well I started with Retinol right away when I started but the respect I have for that treatment is on another level, and bcos of that I haven't experienced any side effect at all, now I'm applying every other night and It's going well. What I got from u is that you preach moisturising so much and I'm big in moisturising like that. My challenge is getting a sunscreen that is kind to my eyes, joooo I have L'Oréal and Nivea they are not doing justice, but I will keep on trying other brands bcos trying products is the name of this game. Once more thank you and all the best.
Thank you 😊. Yes those sunscreen contain Avobenzone and its sting the eyes… Try to find one without that ingredient. Check Evy sunscreen… no white cast and it won’t leave you a white cast☺️
I use a really good non-greasy sunscreen from Neutrogena on my face, ears and neck, upper chest. Then I use a different sunscreen in a larger sized bottle for the other parts of my body.
My face seemed to get darker in the orbital area and yes I did apply spf 50. It was Chemical spf then switched to mineral. I quit tretinoin shortly thereafter.
Hello dear sister, liked and supported 👍. Qs. Have you personally faced skin darkening issues when you started using retinol ? And how long did it took for the darkening to fully fade ?
Hello! I was in search of using Tretinoin and came upon your video. I love your knowledge about skin and now is a new subscriber. Is the order of these night time skin care routine with tretinoin correct❓I have oily skin but becomes dry after using tretinoin. 1. Cleanse face with a soothing cleanser like Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser Normal to oil skin OR La Roche Posay Purifying Cleanser For normal to oily skin. 2. Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner 3. 4.Niacinamide from Ordinary 5.Hyaluronic Acid from ordinary 6.Cerave facial moisturizer lotion ultra lightweight OR Cerave Moisturizing Cream for normal to dry skin. 7.Tretinoin 0.025% 8.Moisturizer (s) same ones listed above. Is this list good or should I make changes etc? Thanks in advance. ❤
What if my skin is getting darker and I’m applying sunscreen every 2 hours and the good amount and only use Tret at night ?? My skin is still getting darker
You’re wrong. Not all mineral sunscreens leave a white cast sis. I only use mineral sunscreens cos I’m allergic to chemical sunscreens. All the mineral sunscreens I use never leave a white cast and leave my skin looking soft smooth and supple ❤
This is not about wrong or right. The mineral sunscreen I used at that time left me white cast. i just found 1 who doesn't, and im very happy. if you have good sunscreen that doesn't, please list them here so we can all enjoy them. I will personally buy them if I didnt already

Thank you for not taking the long break. So, I started using tretinion 0.05% last week, I used it twice last week and once yesterday. There has been no purging whatsoever, I have a dry skin, it didn’t get any drier either. Please, could I be doing something wrong or is this normal?
This approach is good. You have no side effects because you are taking it slow which is great. My next video will talk about different ways of using tretinoin. I think you will understand more deeply. But what you are doing is great. Just keep in mind the goal is to use it daily. But the skin need to be accustomed to it, and it may take time. If you are someone like me who started straight by using it daily every night you would see or have some side effects. But I think going slow like you do is best because you won’t inflame your skin.☺️ I hope this help. But my next video will talk about it. Plz dont miss it 😃 Thank you
@@olubanjiopeyemi1762 hi sis, I delayed this response to be sure the message was meant for me. I use the gel, exactly like the one in the thumbnail of the video. You should know though that I’ve increased the usage to daily, I used it slowly for about 3 months. Now that I use it daily, there’s a huge difference. My facial skin is peeling, gets dry but revealing a brighter skin, it sometimes get itchy too. Overall, my skin is purging but I’m liking the result. My routine: I use Simple Micellar water facial wash, dry the skin, wait a while and apply tretinoin. Sometimes, I use moisturizer after like 5 minutes, other times I don’t.
I am white and started using Tretinoin from Agency. When I moved up to 035% I started getting dark patches. I panicked. I only use the Tretinoin at night but I went from every other day at 025% to every day at 035%. I always apply moisturizer before applying the Tretinoin but should've stayed with every other day or every third day. I thought because I had used Retinoids for years my skin was ready for a stronger Tretinoin but obviously not. I will slow down to 2 or 3 times a week and moisturize a lot until I can build up.
May be the formulation was not ok with your skin. I think 0.35% is ok especially if you have been using it for years. Agency add other actives which can create reaction on your skin. Will make a video on why I stop using Agency
Listen 👂 hear Linda you are so correct you always say no vitamin A during the day. And you always tell us to use sunscreen today on my walk guess what I forgot to put on?
Green tea toner. Make green tea as usual and use as a toner. Its loaded with antioxidants. If you leave it in the refrigerator and will help with the redness due to constriction of blood vessels
Yes you can put foundation on top of sunscreen. There is no best sunscreen. It depends on your skin type, how you like to apply it and what kind of finish you like. I can't put regular lotion/cream/mist SPF on my eyelids. I have to use solid stick sunscreen on my eyelids. Some people can't use chemical sunscreen so opt for a mineral sunscreen. there are matte SPF for those with very oily skin.
The side effects for me were wrinkles and fine lines all at the age of 19, I would not advise anyone to use tretinoin ever destroyed my skin and aged me
watch this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M1NVd1iz8y8.html, and i got some new information about it, so stay tuned ... For now Stop and watch that video and this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W0tlahkILm0.html
You’re so funny 😂😂 currently what’s happening but I’ll b more patient. The right amount of sunscreen tho, these products are expensive. Also applying sunscreen every other hour during the day should it be on the preexisting layered skin? It confuses me
Thks ..fo videoz..hypegimentatoon is eating my whoke face nw. Wen i used a retinol for roreal had content of niacimide ad retinol The patches bcame darker! I hv now stopped it..

Continue…or check with your physician…keep using tretinoin. But seek help with your dermatologist as there are many factors i dont know. Also like i said in the video, moisturize more…
@@JosiphiaRizado yes i use roship oil ,and moaituroser daily before sun block,,, i use hyloronc acid and niacnmide also to keep hydrated my skin but dont know why my skin is gettng darker ,😓😓😓
@@zamankhan821 are you using all those 4 products before sunscreen? Did you watch my morning routine? If not please do so. Also watch my night routine.. they may help
I ran here as soon as I saw this.I started using tretinoin and I had all these big pimples on my face.I'll persist and be patient like you have said but if my skin doesn't improve in the next week I'm cutting off my patience.
1 week is not enough dear. You have to go through the process until your skin is accustomed to it. And then you will see everything going back in place. You won’t recognize your face. If you need a quick fix with tretinoin you won’t have it… you need to be patient. If you can’t just stop using it now…Good luck dear… please watch my most recent video I think it will help you more in your situation ☺️
Nice one dear I'm your new subscriber, I just come across this video and I like your review, I just started using this products on face, I have wrinkles on my face and acne, also my feet is darker than the rest of my body, and wrinkle like an old woman feet, so I don't know what to use to even out my doll and wrinkled feet
You have beautiful skin. I started my Tretinoin journey a week ago with 0.025% I guess I wanted to feel the dryness and see my skin peel to see that it's working, but nothing. My skin is mostly soft and only slightly pink with no stinging feeling. When do most people see the dryness and peeling associated with Trtinoin? Before Tretinoin I've used retinaldehyde 0.1% and just recently Differin gel. I do moisturize a lot and use sunscreen religiously every day.
Hello you do not have to have the same side effects. We are unique. If you use 0.025% you may not get side effects. so listen to your skin. Watch this video to know more please, i detailed everything here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZjwHa36XrdQ.html
