I'll be returning the ES-2, I have. It's been nothing but issues with the thing since day one. Now, I don't get any audio output! Not worth the hassle for me.

Auto gain is not working for me for some reason. Every time I turn it on its mutes the input (the mic) so I can't hear myself therefore auto gain doesn't pick it up. 🤦🏽 Any suggestions???
Do the auto gain adjust the level knob automatically? Like could I just set the gain knob to zero and press auto gain and it adjust the gain knob it self ?
I agree - the HD 2 is the best option - I’ve just bought one and I truly love it. Would’ve been great if it had two headphone outs like the HD 8, but they’re definitely the best sounding audio interface PreSonus have ever made. Can’t wait for Studio One 7…
Can you do an interface comparison between the Apollo x6 and presonus HD8. I currently have the Apollo X wanna upgrade to a rack unit and being that I’m a studio one user I don’t know which one to pick.
Are the guitar and the combo inputs of the HD2 independent? I want something to run stereo guitars and at least a microphone at the same time for my class. I was thinking on getting the EVO 16 but the HD2 really caught my attention, which one do u recommend? (Having in mind I need at least 3 independent inputs) Thanks beforehand :)
The Revelator had absolutely awful headphone amp audio output; they were not loud at all. How is the headphone amp sound quality on these interfaces? Are they loud? Is the headphone amp powerful enough to drive ATH-MX50's?

great overview. did you get a chance to test the reamping? i’m a bit confused since it looks like the output impedance of the reamp ports is only 100 Ohms (which seems way less than most pedals expect)
just had a quick question and was wondering if you had any tips on how to record vocals with low latency monitoring turned on and still hear your inserts I know in the mixing tab of preferences there’s away to still hear your sends I’m running into a issue with delay while recording with effects on and I know to make sure my Hw buffer size is set low I’m using Apollo twin interface and the latest version of pro tools on a MacBook (I’m also having latency even when no plugins are on) When I turn on low latency monitoring the latency stops but then the artist can’t hear their effects while recording Please advise if you can Thank you once again
Wavy , on pro tools is it possible to put a plugin on a specific part of the vocal ? It’s like Reaper is the only program with that feature it’s so crucial for me .
Apollos are not the interface y’all think it is. Times have changed and gear has surpassed apollos interfaces. The minute uad plugins didn’t need the hardware to be used anymore apollos fell to the background. At this point thats what newbies buy because that’s all people tell them to buy.
@@waynewav true I still love my apollo because I can use pre sets and unison plugins in console but I have a lot of mixes from when I just was using a presonous interface and a Scarlett and not going to lie some of them jawns were super crispy after the mix

@@AC-kw7xxHe needs to fund himself like any other. Also he can do other products and isn’t exclusive. The only thing I’d say is that he should say this overview or review etc etc if it is sponsored; and display that in the corner of the video~easy-peasy. Otherwise it’s fine to do these things. He also does quality pro tips to,,, for free! Can’t ask for more than that.
