@@jesseleehudson1141 thanks man! That song can apply to a lot in life. This is only my second year bass fishing. I've always done saltwater/deep sea fishing which is favorite. However, I'm not close enough to saltwater to satisfy my hungry anymore. So I'm def still learning a lot. I live close to where Ike grew up, fish a lot of the same waters.

Mike! Just talks my fishing language. I have never caught a fish on a regular jig. Ever! But I am going too.. Got my baits tied on and ready to go tomorrow. I was throwing a 5" Zman diezel minnow (black/blue) with a 3/8oz Texas eye head catching giants. Dragging it slow on the bottom. I'm in central Iowa. This front shut em down for me.

I’m all about big baits for big pike here in Germany. Used a lot of these style if baits but smaller profiles growing up in Florida, but now I’m living in Germany and big swimbaits = big pike
