can confirm Barbell Rescue brush is amazing bought one after seeing this video. worked great even on my curling bar which I thought would be an issue due to the curves, but nope, perfection. great video as always, thxs!

I bought a 2 pack of Ryobi brush heads from Home Depot that have a built-in chuck that fits into my power drill. Works great.

I have used all those and the barbell rescue is definitely my favorite but if you have a bare steel barbell the ultra budget pick is a $1 metal grill brush from Walmart

⁠ at a dollar apiece or 10 for 10. You just get a couple extra and keep them for barbell‘s only meat on these barbells is mine 😂. But none bare bar it’s barbell rescue all day

Man that pay $1200 for a brush and get a free Eleiko bar might just be the best kept secret!! Lucky to have not need to clean my bars yet but the barbell rescue will be the one I go to when that day comes!

I have 2 of the hybrid 360 brushes. 1 nylon and 1 brass. The brass one is great for my bare steel Texas DL bar, I use nylon on anything stainless or anything with a coating/finish. If I hadn’t already had these, the barbell rescue would be my pick, but the 2 I have are great!

I have had barbells in my basement gym for about 5 years now. I guess I am lucky it stays dry and no bar brushing needed at this point. If I ever do, Barbell Rescue and your code sounds like the best option, thanks!

The 1.5 years or so I was in the garage and trying to make videos in the summer were god awful. Would have to keep the door shut to keep outside noise down and it was a sauna.

All those who think a regular or grout brush will suffice, are playing checkers. A brush that conforms to the barbell is an absolute game changer. I use an Amazon knock off of the hybrid brush and it's amazing.

I just ordered the eleiko and even if it’s only $6 bucks, it ends up being like $16 because of the shipping being $10. I am currently using the 360 degree barbell brush from rogue but sometimes I don’t really need it as I can just clean the chalk with a clean rag / towel. Also, I didn’t get a magnetic brush with my eleiko IPF comp bar.

I just got the Hybrid Athletics barbrll brush. I thought I was was getting the nylon bristles, but ended up with the steel bristles. I have all bare steel barbells so I assume using the steel bristles shouldn't hurt the knurling...I hope.

I use a deck scrubber. Unscrew the handle and you're good to go. Big surface area, tough nylon bristles, and it was $12 at home Depot.

tips on how to get some chalk out the bar? deep in the knurling ?

Are you using any kind of lubricant to help? Generally best practice is dry brush, 3 in 1, brush again.

Was going to ask/say the same as Brandon. If the chalk is deep down and truly caked-in, it will take some sort of lubricant to penetrate and soften it up. Depending how bad, it could take more than one application.

$6 brush but it says Eleiko... the magnet is a nice touch. I have the nylon version of the hybrid 360 brush and bought it either before the barbell rescue was available or before I knew it existed... definitely would have opted for the barbell rescue.

I bought the Rogue brush and it is absolute garbage. The bristles are too soft; it really doesn't do anything. I'd rather use a cheap bathroom brush from amazon.

Yeah I like as stiff of nylon as possible! The Rogue kit is convenient as it gives you everything you need, but if you just buy them seperately from amazon or home depot it's much cheaper.
