I absolutely agree after seeing you put one of these together I put two of them together myself absolutely amazing monsters nothing quite like it thank you for inspiring me on these two builds they’ve been two of my best rigs awesome video Rich keep up the good work call me an arrma fan boy call me what you want but after watching videos like this I’m still not too sure on the X maxx bro keep bashing the arrma‘s and putting out these awesome videos thanks again🤙🤙

He Rich, if a guy were to do this build what body do you use that will fit the stretch?

@@kollinborn930 this body is a Proline 1972 Chevy C-10 long bed. It was a bit short in the wheelbase so I fudged the wheel wells. Chris Anthony with CommanderAstig CA RC found a couple nice bodies for his, just forgot which ones 🤔. The wheelbase is roughly 16.5" and width is about 7.5" to 8" if that helps. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Great for moderate bashing, but I've busted 2 chassis's (among several other smaller parts) in only 4 full runs 👀. Many RU-vidrs declare it's the strongest etc, but that hasn't been my reality 😂. The value at 1k is questionable too considering the electronics are weak and the tires explode rather easily. Truly appreciate the kind words Brother. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Thanks so much Brother 😜. The Tekno, Mugen, and Xray can all make solid basher's (Mugen and Xray especially). That said, you're getting a high level, expensive race kit. They won't be any stronger than an M2C upgraded ARRMA, but will cost a pretty penny. The shocks, steering, and plastics may be better, but I haven't owned either to really give a worthy opinion. 😎💪👊👊

I did scroll through M2C racing's website and I noticed there's a few things they make for the Mugen which is pretty cool....so will see I need to decide on some electronics and I'll be up and running hopefully within a month, I'm going to need waterproof stuff too cuz I plan on doing some snow running. This is a 1972 Chevy C-10 Proline long bed 👍. You'd want to swap for Kraton towers, shocks, arms, links, driveshafts, hexs and stub axels. It's honestly easier to convert a Kraton to this K6s XL platform. 🍻

Thanks so much Brother 😜. This body is a 1972 Chevy C-10 long bed. You would have massive wheel rub running a Mojave body. This setup is WAY more stable in all areas than the standard Kraton. It's faster (gets the power down better), turns, and jumps better, especially at high speeds 😍. Pretty simple conversion too. 🍻😎💪👊👊

@@richduperbash2966 yup exactly just gotta get the center braces and drive shafts. Definitely M2C shafts with the EXB Mojave chassis braces. My Kraton front end is bent anyways time for a changes in the next season 👍👊. I will definitely make a video on my Rich conversion 👊🍺

It might fit, but would greatly affect aerodynamics and have a parachute effect with jumps and forced wheelies at speed. The body would have to be raised and trimmed significantly to clear the wheels. 😎💪👊👊

I haven't found a need for the HR diff covers. The stock covers have held up great when bolted into the aluminum housing 👍. I try not to add any unnecessary weight to my rigs. 🍻😎💪👊👊

You have to build a truly extreme basher because they simply don't exist in stock RTR form, regardless of brand. 🍻

I'm running a Savox 1230 in Orange Darling 😍. Lots of power and very reliable thus far. I normally use Power HD 23kg WP servos in my 6s rigs. They have good specs and take a beating. 😎💪👊👊

@@richduperbash2966 I'll keep those two in mind, I'm trying out some AGFRC servos, seem to be pretty quality, I'm sick of the cheap Amazon servos dying on me.

I honestly don't like LSD in the rear. In the center, it simply limits how much power is transferred to the front wheels when on throttle. Up front, it limits side to side diff action when cornering or powering over uneven terrain. You can tune traditional open diffs with different weight fluids to limit power transfer as desired. That's why I didn't bother using EXB LSD diffs in this build. 🍻

Voltage Hobbies makes great parts 😍. Kenny uses 7075 T6 like M2C Racing. His chassis braces are fantastic. The Mojave uses the V3-V5 Talion style braces (exact same ones). He still makes them last I checked. 😎💪👊👊

I know this because I'm on the test team Brother 🤗. We share every detail as a group, brainstorm etc together. We're going with steel for production and hardened steel splined cups. This is exactly why we have a rigorous and varied testing process, to find the limits of prototype test parts. Will everyone go full send off a Terminator ramp? Probably not 😂 but that doesn't matter. The aim is to weed out any potential issues before production and help provide the best parts available anywhere. It's pretty common for us to experiment with different lengths, tolerances, and materials during testing.🍻😎💪👊👊

Even if the diffs look intact, it's possible your main gears are slipping. I'd make sure there's no cracks in the lower diff case margins or stripped bolts in the plastic suck as the diff cover. I'd be more suspect of the front diff if it's only on braking.

I'm running a standard 50T ARRMA spur gear. You can run a standard Mojave 6s tower to tower brace, but I recommend the lighter/stronger carbon fiber Basherqueen one available on eBay. 😎💪👊👊

@@WildBoyRC 16T pinion with 6s Backflips works great on the FT with the stock electronics. I like 100 weight shock oil with M2C pistons and caps (ZRS bladderless set-up). For diffs, 500k to 1mil cst center, 50k front, 20k rear works awesome. Alloy chassis braces are a solid first upgrade. The rest is up to you and your needs. 🍻
