@@tyrus9mmI think you’re missing the point of the song, with the song he is condemning violence and symbolizing how you can’t escape violence and everyone deals with it no matter who you are
@@bandoo1882it’s still not even close to a beat switch. It’s just another section in the song like a verse or stick. A beat switch is basically just switching to a whole different song with different tempo, chord progressions, sound selection etc.
I remember watching this music video for the first time being completely blown away as soon as I finish it, I started from the beginning, so I couldn’t want to listen to the song, and to pay more attention to the video itself, because for once in a very, very long time. Immediate video was awesome and relevant to the world.
the thing is Donald glover is talented asf-- mans wrote on 30 Rock with Tina Fey at like 23, acted in community and a lot of other popular shows, and also childish Gambino is fire?? like

Another banger beat switch that I absolutely adore from this mans is the the intro for "Me and Your Mama" where the first half of the intro sounds mystical, almost fantasy-like then it switches totally his badass guitar. It gets me everytime
Personally J Coles entire discography has just had such a huge impact on my life, I’ve learned so much from listening to his music and it has taught me so much about life and how precious and special it really is, so I would just like to thank J Cole for making the amazing music that he does
It reminds me of how Jordan Peele is such a hilarious comedian and same with Donald Glover, funny men making these powerful and moving pieces, I grew up watching Community and Key & Peele, so funny and now they're making horror and Donald is making music that's eye opening
