Another round of Beaver Stadium's most raucus moments highlighting some spectacular plays by the Penn State Nittany Lions in front of their beloved home crowd, otherwise known as the Nittany Nation. WE ARE! PENN STATE!
Whiteout coming up, stoked for this year even more excited for the next few years! Nothing like growing up just outside Happy Valley and passing Beaver Stadium on the way to work every morn. Or being outside hearing the stadium from several miles out. God I love this place!! #WeAre
I used to go to all the home games with my dad from 1999-2007. I was only 11 years old when we played OSU in 2005. I remember waking up at 6 am so excited to go to college gameday. We went, tailgated all day, then went in for the game. I'll never forget the brisk cold air and the mix of light rain and snow as we waited outside the gate to get in. This college kid turned to me in shock to see me there. He said "HOLY SHIT LITTLE MAN HOW OLD ARE YOU?" I told him my age and he just goes "Wow...I promise you will remember this night for the rest of your life.". To this day I remember everything so vividly. It was right around the year the fans started jumping up and down on the bleachers after big plays while the stadium played Zombie Nation. The stadium was vibrating at all times. The benches were flexing at all times. To this day it was the most energetic and riled up crowd I have ever seen in my entire life. I will never forget that game and I will never stop talking about that game. I'm sorry future wife, that Penn State game will forever be the greatest day of my life.
It was my Freshman year at Penn State. I"ll never forget it either. I've seen 8 Penn State Ohio State Matchups. Saturday will be lucky number 9! I hope.... WE ARE! Thanks for watching! Subscribe for more :)
I was at all the homes games from 2001 on. Unfortunately, the Minnesota player who Michael Robinson collided with was never able to play again. There was nothing dirty. It was just a hard hit. They used to show that highlight on the big screen but then Joe Paterno found out the kid never played again and respectfully it was never shown again. The Whiteout at Beaver Stadium is by far the most exciting atmosphere in all of college football. WE ARE PENN STATE!!
good vid, but when you say lets see that again...really we are seeing it for the first time in your video since the lions face covers the video LOL great job though
Kinda bummed out that we didn't see Paul Poszluzny against Minnesota or OSU; as tremendous as the offense was, the linebacker corps and the entire defense that year played lights out.
Hey Man, thanks for the feedback. I know the plays you are referring to very well, and I agree those are definitely worthy! If Penn State would of had even an ounce of the offensive fire power they've had the past 2 seasons, in 2004; the Nittany Lions easily win the Big Ten. That defense played LIGHTS out, and even with an anemic offense and a 4-7 record, the D finished ranked 5th! I've been working on additional vids over the summer and will be posting additional content steadily through the 2018 season. Subscribe so you don't miss new videos! Thanks again for watching!
The "Dark Years" of Penn State football were arguably 2000-2004. On the field at least... Nothing went State's way.... even during the 9-4 2002 season. It would take the NW victory on the road in 2005 to finally shake the losing ways the new millenium plagued the program with.
