Now that is how to make Lo Mein, with buttery nuts and all!! That is on awesome looking dish there. The CJ's favorite comments are pure gold, LOVE IT!!
chopping those onions... such a satisfying sound... you guys should make a video with nothing but high quality cooking sounds. That way people who hate to hear CJ and Nate talk, can enjoy as well. haha.
Every Thursday as my wife and I sit at our son’s soccer practice I watch the new episode. When she heard my name again in the CofTW she quickly turned......”oh my gawd, are you a stalker, what have you posted now?”. Hey, I know good eats and appreciate those who understand my humor. Another great show......ring a ding bell 🔔 .....cheers.🍻
You’re an all star in the COTW lol and those of us with quality humor need to stick together. Tell your bride that we’re becoming old friends together now, no stalking lol cheers bro! 🔔🔔🍻🍻
Just wanted to let you know you helped me with the bell. We've had this rooster bell near our back door since we moved in. Never knew why just thought it was strange. Now I know why. It's great to know the previous owner partied!!
Was about to say another 30 minute marinade video blah blah blah. But then you go and say “Here’s to Buttery Nuts!!” And totally redeem yourself!! Great cook CJ as always. Definitely enjoying your show more and more. DING!!
Ok. That was awesome. My new griddle is going to get a workout. 40 years ago I used to cook part time at a nearby Chinese restaurant and I couldn't make that dish that well. Oh, yeah. I forgot. I was indoors in a pro set, not on a griddle on my porch. Absolutely amazing.
Looks amazing. In one of your videos you used the word Skadoushole. I laughed so hard. I now have that as my husband's name in my phone. I have now watched every video you and Nate have made. I look forward to Thursdays just for your videos. Keep it going. I love it and it makes my day.
Gary, welcome to the family! You’re gonna love your Blackstone my friend. Let me know how this recipe turns out for you. Hit me up on FB and post a pic.
loved the show, looks like a great recipe. What model blackstone griddle are you using? Can't find that specific look anywhere. I have the 36 inch without the lid that i use tailgating plus any other time I can make an excuse to use it. Keep up the good work!!
This is my kind of meal for sure! Love the recipe, the simplicity and the end result looks amazing!! Oh, and I made comments of the week too!! Yowza!! Much thanks from Snowy Canada!
Whats up fellows.....yeah its been a while!!! CJ wow made one of my favorites, that recipe looked delicious and beautiful 🤣😅. I will be trying this soon
Made this last night and after we finished I said to my wife that I think I forgot something. A buttery nut! I guess I’ll have to make it again with cashews. Ring it and bring it!
Looks scrumptiously delicioso. Think I’ll try it. Hey CJ, was that soy sauce in your pocket or were you just happy to be there!? 😜 Just what WAS in your red solo today? I’d love that recipe too. ‘Nother nice one. Thanks. Troy
I have been thinking of getting the 36 inch with the air fryers I was just wondering do they work as well as the countertop ones and also does the 28 inch with the electric air fryer work as good or worse than the gas one I’m trying to figure out which one to get love the show and you can really cook thanks
This sounds delish! Have to watch all the way through each episode for the quotes and comments. Just got my 22 inch adventure ready BS less than a week ago and really enjoy it. BTW, I cj'd the bacon the first time I cooked it but somebody got me the thin sliced. That's my excuse anyway
Hey! Love the channel! First dish I was inspired by was Beef Lo Mein. Ahhhh…. Ooohhhh! So… yummmm! If u can, wud you say about how much of the ingredients you are using to create the yum. Mine turned out great and will totally make again. Include some of The Shining vids when you are inspired.. it’s my fav!
🤓Cashews are not nuts but drupes.... Drupes are fruits that have a fleshy exterior and a pit with a seed inside. They are the seed inside the pit of the fruit. 😀👍🤓😎
Awesome as always CJ!! I'm not even a fan of Lo Mein, but I would def. eat this one for sure. Also, been wanting to say that you for sure have one sweet cooking area hook up! Cheers brother, I'm ringing the bell for you guys as always! 🌭🍺🍺🍺
Great job CJ! I really appreciate how much you explain the process. This might be out of my league but I would like to give this a try. It will take a bit to round up those ingredients. Ha ha
Hey looks better than Wasabi! CJ another great show, it was sooo awesome meeting you and your family at Wasabi, it made our weekend! Keep up the great work, and if you ever need anything or help in good old P.C. let me know. THANKS
Bro!!! I love that we got a chance to meet in person! Small world my friend lol But let’s not get to crazy. Wasabi crushes my cooking 😂😂😂 In all seriousness, you totally made my weekend. Thanks for the chance to meet your family. Cheers brother 🔔🔔🍻🍻
I know this is an older video, but I had to comment. I lost it at the mention of buttery nut. I couldn't laugh, because I couldn't breathe. Lol That's almost as funny as fumundah cheese.
The level of skill the way CJ reads/narrates the COTW is underrated. He really brings life to the comments. Now, if only he can bring life back to me once my wife kills me after asking her if she’s ready for some buttery nut.
You dare go into the Todd Toven world and make a lo mein? Even using his noodle tricks? You better bring it! And you sir Mr. Frazier have certainly brought it. I applaud you tenacity. 👏 👏👏👏. Well done sir well done in deed.
Did you know that Ginger was introduced to the Mediterranean by the Arabs. Don't let that fact distract you that Al Bundy scored four touchdowns for Polk High School in one game.
@CJFrazier Bought my BS in winter so I’m having to scour the old recipes. I’ve been wanting to make this one for a while but ribeye steak or cut up ribeye for a recipe…. Steaks have been winning. So thank chef Nate for spoon feeding you this sauce and thank for making this (sorry I don’t think the frito bandito came up with this one). I hate you both for the extra cleaning that went into cleaning the BS after cooking this. We will make this again. And hate you all over again.
anyone else concerned that as Cj's level of cooking goes up that so will his level of seriousness on his show? i mean one hoity-toity show is enough right? no hate, love both you guys!
Okay, I know I have to be the biggest fan of your show. (Nate's too) This recipe is 🔥and I am totally going to make it and I'll send pics. "Just when I thought you couldn't be any dumber, you go and do something like this...and totally redeem yourself."
Really like your show a lot of great cooks going on but this one you lost me at cashews did not need them . Why not try my fave ground prime rib burgers yumm
Lo Mein is a sensitive dish for me. Mother used to make Lo Mein for her boyfriends on their third date and I’ve grown a strong detest for this meal. As an excited trombone player in middle school my excitement over the announcement of my solo was quickly washed away when I opened the door and smelled the LO Mein wafting throughout our modest rented ranch home. “Kip” was joining us for dinner that night and I still get angry about sharing my great news with a newspaper ad sales guy. Way to aim low mom. FYI we had LO Mein about 8-10 times a year if that gives you an idea of the type of person my mom was - sorry but this really triggered me.
CJ, love the cook and idea. Apparently Nate still hasn't learnt yet that you do know how to cook and he clearly needs to stick a sock in it!! Yes Nate, that's you're MOUTH! If his cooking job at McDonald's doesn't pay that much for him to buy a pair, I would be MORE than happy to send you some cash so he quits trying to take over your show with his ANYOYING voice!
After all the clips that I've shared and comments, clips you've used...apparently I need to do better to get on comments of the week! Or just be a dick, that seems to work. Love ya CJ. 😂🍻 Looked so good BTW!
not nearly enough sauce for udon noodles, they ended up tacky and chewy because their wasnt enough liquid to coat them. also, you use stock in the video, point out the difference in stock and broth, then put broth in the ingredient list. are you even making the same recipe on the list?
