I really can't think of any character with the same size as cable to use that. In the comments I was told this was a modified Hercules torso. Thanks man 💯
THANK YOU!! I've been trying to figure out a larger gun for Cable and the Deathlok one looks perfect for the price point - he's $16 on Amazon. Order placed. Also, I nabbed a Retro Hercules to try and swap out the blue arm for flesh tone.
Great in depth review! Can't wait to get this figure! You're definitely right though, they should've gave him his Viper Beam Cannon, along with the two smaller guns, or maybe that spear he uses. Good thing I still have the older Cable figure with the big gun
Thank for the compliment 🙏 I do wonder if the reason why Hasbro did not include those weapon is licensing..I assume those weapons are made for capcom game exclusively and never appeared in comics.
Thanks Jason, glad to see you back..that be like the Mr Fantastic retro with swappable arms, wished hasbro did that...I do wonder if Hasbro had any licencing issue with the Capcom look.
💯 the two figures have the same size arm (same height)..probably Hasbro did not want to remove the sculpted short sleeves of Maggott. Thanks for watching 🙏
What the heck is going on with that upper torso?! You're telling me that we can't have a figure without that exact harness because without it, you have to see that awkward indentation?! They also used the wrong character design on the box because clearly this is the Capcom version.
Thanks. I wonder if Hasbro is avoiding a licensing issue with capcom...no capcom logo on the box. Notice how they call it as "Marvel's Cable" emphasis on Marvel. The Sasquatch BAF cable is just called Cable.
@@TuggernautCollectables They have been putting out the marvel version of Capcom figures for years already , the animated iron man with the canon, and the war machine repaint of that one as well as the sabretooth that just dropped this year . It's dead on to the concept art of MVC2 as well as they've done a specific omega red and hulk before
