A Little About Sean & Stef:
I'm Stef and together with my husband Sean, we started this channel to document our travels around the world. Sadly, Sean passed away from cancer in 2021 but the one thing he made me promise him was that I would continue to travel. So that is what I am doing. And I am learning through every painful new, solo adventure, there is joy and hope. Here's to all the new experiences that are out there awaiting US (cause Sean will always be by my side)!

I first saw you and shaun on a p&o cruise a few years ago. It was my first cruise since my husband died and my first cruise since completing treatment for cancer. Stef, I have followed you since long before Sean’s illness and I could easily be your mom. I just have to tell you how proud I am of all that you have accomplished and you look absolutely fabulous! I am so happy Ben and David have taken you under their wing and you have blossomed. I will admit that this ship would be my worst nightmare….i stick to the much smaller luxury lines…..I am old 😉 but I just love the way you did this tour. It is a great handbook for anyone planning on sailing on her. It’s a ship my grands would love and your video would be the number I would have them watch and take notes, make plans long before boarding. Congratulations sweet girl! ❤

Hi Stef. I’m planning to go to Europe in September onboard a Royal Caribbean Oasis Class Ship and was wondering how reliable and fast the internet is onboard. I’m a teacher and I’m thinking about meeting my class via Zoom to teach for 3 hours every day. If the Internet isn’t good, I’ll probably need to ask for a substitute. Totally agree with you on that, that’s why I wanted to mention it in the video. I loved everything about this ship but you do have to treat this ship like a theme park visit

It is nice to see a much wider promenade. Because of the population on board, I don't know if it makes much of a difference or not. I think one of my biggest issues with Royal ships has been that the promenade has been poorly managed and it becomes a massive clog anytime anything goes on there. Getting around during events is nearly impossible and it really takes away from the cruise experience. If they made the promenade wide enough that you can get from end to end during events, I would call it a big improvement.

Yessss! Could not agree with you more. I think the wider promenade is such an improvement and from what I experienced, made it a lot easier to navigate through night crowds. Also having deck 6 extending the entire promenade helped with navigating from end to end. Deck 5 would be crowded but walking above it on deck 6 was really nice. I wish they would have extended the venues out a bit to give them more space for the amount of people that the ship holds. But overall the promenade on Icon is a huge improvement over the Oasis ships

The Pearl looks really cool. I was wondering if it was going to be all LED like the Sphere in Vegas. Is there music that plays inside the Pearl? I'm thinking of the way the tunnel that connects terminals at the Detroit airport plays that psychedelic music.

The Pearl was such a great space. I thought it was going to be LED as well. There is music that plays inside but everything I heard was more soothing, spa type music. I didn’t go inside the Pearl during the night parties. I wonder if they play music in there for those nights. Would be awesome to be like the Detroit airport. I haven’t been there but that sounds cool

Sorry about all the comments. Playmakers is great. I LOVE chicken wings and they have fantastic deals on wings if you order larger quantities. I think it was like $30 for 50 when I visited them on a different ship back in October. Making you go through there to catch the ice show is really weird. The ice shows are my absolute favorite. I couldn't get enough of the show on Harmony. It was magical.

Playmakers chicken wings are sooooo good. Top those off with the onion ring tower and I am in heaven, lol. It was such a strange decision to have the entrance of Absolute Zero inside Playmakers. So weird. And totally agree with you, the ice shows on Royal ships are fantastic!

@@seanandstef I have this love/hate relationship with onions. I don't like onion rings but I like the Bloomin Onions at Outback. I don't think I ever cook onions in anything and I don't care for onions on my burgers but I love diced white onions served on slices of tomato on toast with some ground black pepper.

No hair dye any more?

For now no hair dye because of the chemo meds that I am on. The bleach that I need to use to make the pink stand out is too harsh and my stylist and I are afraid all my hair will fall out. Taking it easy on the hair dye for now until I see how the meds do with my body
