Sure is. I previously played Witcher 3 through game pass, and had bought both dlc for it. Never got around to finishing it because life got in the way for a bit, went to play it one day and it was gone. Looked on the store and it was still CAD$55, and I didn't want to pay that for a 5 year old game, even though yes, it is worth it. Fast forward to a few days ago when I'm scrolling through the Xbox BF deals and see Witcher 3 for $11.25, and I immediately hit buy. Starting fresh and can't wait to get back into it
Best Buy honestly has some of the best deals. If you want a mid range laptop their gigabyte with 3050ti is 540 or 499 open box all you need is an extra 8gb stick of ram and you can play most games.
As a Sim Racer who started in Logitech G920 and now uses Fanatec and Sim Lab. Those are great wheels for sim racing titles like Iracing or ACC and even simcade racers like Forza or Gran Turismo.
AMD 's Ryzen 7000 CPUs are on sale at a pretty good discount (50-70-ish $) for black Friday on Newegg (pretty sure) and Amazon (mostly sure), and the whole rx-6000 series is actually just selling new for so much less than the launch prices that they might as well be on sale.
There was no way I could pass on Ratchet and Clank being discounted to $30. I recently got a PS5 a couple months ago and it was on the top of my wishlist to grab since I love the R&C games. Definitely a huge steal at only $30.
Thanks gameranx and Happy Thanksgiving! Lots of sales on the digital storefronts as well, and though most of them are at their usual discounted amount, there are a few that have dipped below their previous low price.
i wanna apologize for watching your content for a entire year consistently and not subscribing😭 i completely forgot. i thoroughly enjoy it and appreciate all the work you do!
Tips for people who are getting ps5s I recommend getting it Black Friday the god of war ragnarok edition it may be a bit more expensive but high chance of getting ut
I'm still rocking a 55" LG plasma TV from like 10 years ago, and this weekend I'm finally upgrading and getting a QLED, and I'm really excited to see the difference
happy thanksgiving everyone also thx for inspiring me to become a youtuber your ideas each day on the account are kinda mad i imagine the research takes ages but i wonder how come you come up with a great idea each day mate?
I was so excited for Black Friday In college. I stayed up all night to get one of the 5 laptops available at a super cheap deal. Too bad they downgraded the computer turning what I thought was a great deal into nearly a paperweight. All the specs on the blurb were the same as the full cost one. It’s what they didn’t say on the sales pitch was all downgraded. This was best buy
Important to note that you can buy Horizon Forbidden West ps4 edition for 30 bucks and get ps5 upgrade for free. It’s not even a glitch or anything, ps5’s version only benefit was the ability to pre-load the game before launch which is irrelevant now
I finally got my hands on a PS5 last week from GameStop. Got the best bundle ever, came with the 2 controller charging station, the wireless headphones and GOW Ragnarok. All for $800.
You got ripped off once you consider every new bundle is the standard Ragnarok version since the DualSense charging station costs $30, the Pulse 3D is $100 in total that should add up to $530 if you got the digital version or $630 if you went the physical route You overpaid $170 to $270 in total for it, heck even if you bought the console by itself $500 or $400 then buy the rest yourself you would still be overpaying $100
In Australia at my local EB Games. They’re doing a deal; Trade in 2 games worth more than $10 to get the new GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK for $39.95 but I brought a whole bag of real old games that couldn’t be traded in and added the amount to take off for the price, and I ended up paying 50c LOL. I gave them a dollar and got 50c change. 😅😂
Just picked up the LG Ultragear 32" QHD monitor for $200 at Walmart. Honestly was the best deal I found and only had 2 in stock at my local store. It's 165Hz with Freesync also, so it was a no brainer.
I recently been getting curious about VR games... Was hoping you'd have something in the video regarding the headsets but I guess they are still not that main stream. Anyone else have any suggestions?
On psn store. Assassin creed Valhalla $15 Cyberpunk 25 Mk11 $9. Expansion bundle $9 Also you can get the query and house of ashes for about 20 bucks each on Amazon
I can vouch on the 42 inch C2. This thing is a beast, and will run circles around most monitors. But for something smaller and with display port G7 oddyssey is a no brainer at the price its going for Maybe Gpus arent on sale but Last gen AM4(5000 series) cpus are at a decent discount too
Even though it is coming up to being a few years old, the 65 inch LG C1 on amazon is around $1200 with 120 off if you use the amazon store card. One of the best TV's to get your hands on. Don't sleep.
I've been looking at the 5000 series AMD CPUs on amazon the last couple weeks that now say 40-50% off. Which is like $10-20 off what they were before the sale. 😒
To add to the monitors on Amazon the SAMSUNG 28" Odyssey G70A Gaming Computer Monitor, 4K UHD LED Display, HDR 400, 144Hz, G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Support, Front Light Panels, LS28AG700NNXZA, Black (yes this is a copy and paste). Is 28% off was $800, now is $580.
I just picked up a vizio 55in oled for 298 , great picture for viewing and gaming , after 2 yrs the ps5 is more abundant at its regular price , I hope the scalpers eat those extras they snatched up , happy Thanksgiving gamers , I need gaming here in upstate new york
I bought games for the first time in my life this sale. Got 7 games for 4000 indian rupees(converts to approximately 50 usd , i don't know the purchasing power parity though) •Disco Elysium •Just cause 3 •Forza horizon 4 •Doom eternal •Red dead redemption •Witcher 3 •Cyberpunk 2077 Let me know if you think i could've got something better...
The PlayStation Store Black Friday deals end on 11/28/22 and have some discounts up to 80% off certain titles. There is also a TON of great deals for $25 bucks or less too. Hell I dropped a little under 30 bucks for Devil May Cry 5 and Ultimate MK 11🤷
Great vid except for the part where you said Last of Us PART ONE at $50 was a good deal…that’s when I realized you just had too much turkey lol! Happy Thanksgiving guys thanks for being awesome 😎
I'm just buying games from Steam....got A plague Tale Inoocence for less than half the price. The US consumer is spolit not like us 😂. Games are on sale many times throughout the year so if it's not today it'll be in February. BTW you guys pointed that game out so TYVM....enjoying it alot.
Regarding the asus monitor, if you’re willing to fork over a couple more bucks, you can get the asus vg27wq 27in 165hz 1440p HDR curved monitor, got it for my ps5 and it’s great for both frames and picture quality
My DS5 is starting to have a little bit of stick drift on the right stick. I was buying groceries at target this week and I picked up a new one for $50. This is great!
Gameranx you should def edit your videos to 1.5 speed it makes the video so up beat and enthusiastic I love it just a suggestion makes your video so fun and interesting.
Was able to buy a Meta Quest 2 VR headset for $350. Originally it's $400. It comes with beat Saber and Resident Evil 4 VR. Having a huge blast so far. Definitely recommend it. Bought it off of Amazon. I also bought myself a TV from best buy. It's the 50 inch Sony Bravia XR X90J Series. 4k with HDR and 120Hz TV. Fantastic so far. It was $799 before tax. $100 off. Was curious if they had a TV with 4k, HDR, 120hz AND raytracing, but couldn't find anything on best buy unfortunately. In the next 4 or 5 years when I get a new TV maybe raytracing will be more widely available. Edit: It was also nice to get rid of my old Hisense TV. Learned a few years after I got it that hisense is a Chinese company. Wanted to get rid of it and limit putting any of my information into it since I'm worried about the Chinese harvesting my info. Glad I replaced it.
I just financed the 65 inch LG C2 from Best Buy, and it's much better than my 50 inch LG Nano86. Unless I'm missing something, the C2 has pretty much every feature you would get from a PC monitor, with the addition of a big screen and OLED colours.
And burn in literally doesn't happen. Ice fallen asleep and left my c1 on almost every single night and their still isn't any burn in and I have over 10000 hours
@@arithmetic7105 you can actually hit 200hz or more on the newer OLED TVs if they support FPS boost and your graphics card is capable of pushing that many fps.
@@rootz420 people have made burn-in such an issue with the OLEDs, but the newer models are better designed to prevent burn-in. And it only really happens if you play a lot without cleaning the pixels through a special feature called pixel refresh, or if there's a static image on the screen for a long period of time.
Does the Last of Us remake work on the Playstation 4? Or is it PS5 only? And how is the Xbox Elite “Core” controller ? I noticed the Elite Series 2 isn’t really on sale, unless you consider $7 usd off a sale. My Elite Series 2 controller broke with stick drift, so I’m looking for a replacement, and probably getting a warranty with the new one. It would be the first product I purchased a warranty for…they are that good! Are there any stores running sales on retro games? I’m looking for a few older titles like Dead Space(Xbox) and the Soulcalibur 1&2(Xbox).
