Guys... this is legit stuff and works! Was about to spend $15 at camping world for a bottle that wouldn't work. $1 at Dollar General... instantly cleans. Good job and thx for sharing!
Great review. Thank you. I just went out and bought a bottle of la totally awesome from my local dollar tree and just cleaned my enclosed race car trailer with it. It works great! I did find that I had to go over each area twice though to really get rid of the streaks. No big deal. Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing! I have a 2022 26' cargo trailer. I use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant on. I get these streaks as well..... I'm looking for a cleaner that will not strip the sealant. Thanks again. 👍
I learned about citrus cleaner back in the 90s. Every spring a white van would come to our neighborhood and out would come 5-6 youth, they were very slick salesmen. They were selling this stuff called ADVANTAGE Citrus Cleaner, I was in my driveway working on my car and this kid comes up trying to sell me this concentrated citrus cleaner, I'm like naw...... He walks over to a oil stain on the cement, sprays some of that stuff on the oil, takes a old dirty rag out and wiped up that oil stain.... I'm like WTF!! They sold this stuff for like $32 a 1/2 gallon or qt bottle , I don't remember. You mix the concentrated like 10-1 or more, I would spray this on Kitchen grease and cigarette smoke in my apartments when cleaning the rentals. You just spray it on and the Dirt/Grease would just run down the wall. DANG! Next year when they came around I bought 4 big bottles. I have been hooked ever since ! The DOLLAR STORE AWESOME is almost the exact same solution just diluted. It is really good stuff. Good job and great video. Cheers
Awesome is the real deal for removing black streaks on aluminum-sided RVs. I did find that using full strength left a film that, itself, was hard to remove. I got better results in diluting with water as suggested on the instructions (assuming they are legible on your bottle!).
I tried the black streak remover, but not with the Magic Eraser. I would worry the melamine would mar the surface. Magic Eraser are very abrasive. The awesome cleaner didn't require a lot or scrubbing. Also, I am cleaning with a microfiber towel that is non abrasive to protect the finish. Thanks for watching
Used it on my gutters, took it right off but on some parts of the gutters it took off the paint. I don’t think it was the awesome that caused it, I think the gutters were poorly painted but just a heads up and I will use it again.
Yep I agree with this, I learned the hard way, I have spots I can see the zinc chromate from the other chemicals coming through, totally awesome is the best so far, I have it mixed 1:1 with water in a sprayer that's how I wet a side and scrub with a soft brush, works good unless it's a really bad area, for that full strength and a rag seams to do it, definitely wash it all off with a hose after. I've found the finish on trailers is thin. I'm going to have to repaint a few spots now I learned the hard way
You are so lucky that you didn't take the paint off of your camper. Purple power and those other cleaners are notorious for taking the paint off. The Awesome is awesome.
The LA cleaner is great. But I've found that they have changed the formula. Personally I have not used this 'new' formula. But, with a word of caution for when you do purchase, use a small amount in a low-profile area and see what it does to the surface. A person may need to use a mixture of water and product for it to work well and safely.
You have a good point so far I have had luck with it. It does dry my hands out after using it. So after I use it I wash the rig with a good car wash to make sure I get it all off. Thanks for watching.
When I used it, I had already washed the rig once with meguiars gold class car wash. That removed the majority of the dirt on the rig. When I did the black streaks, it took some elbow grease to get them off, and it used a lot of product. Thanks for watching.
The only time I diluted it was when I cleaned the roof. After I cleaned the sides of the camper, I rinsed it right away. Then I washed it again with meguiars gold class car wash. Thanks for watching.
I wash the roof every time I wash the rig. The sealant definitely helped for the next wash. It's the black rubber seal above the rain gutters that's the problem. They mildew and attract dirt easily.
You probably could but I might dilute it too much. You could put it in a cheap pump up sprayer so you could distribute it quickly. Thanks for watching.
I tried some and did notice I was getting a lot of white in my rag, I would not recommend using this product at 100% strength. I was at 50/50 will probably try 25/75. It did work well though. By the way they sell spray bottles not need to waste money.
Thank for watching. My store was out of spray bottles that's why I had to use the other bottle. By any chance is your trailer fiberglass? If so it could have been oxidation that builds up on fiberglass rigs usually the only way to remove it is by waxing with a cutting compound.
@@dalegribble60 thanks for watching. Fiberglass will oxidize and usually looks chalky and white. This is dirt and residue from the black rubber trim on top.
Pretty much the best grease, smoke, hard to get off dirt & grime cleaner but beware it will strip paint off metal over time. For the price nothing compares not even TSP.
Detailed a white limousine with awesome from 2007-2014... And all my other cleaning and laundry, plus my son's white baseball pants... gets them sparkling white! Extremely firm believer in Awesome! Does not clean glass well though
John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
