Angels fan here, Trout was the right choice,, but the interesting one would have been Patrick Sandoval, a couple years ago he had a sub 3 era and was way better than his record, then in the WBC he was nasty nasty, but last year he lost control of his fastball and things went kinda haywire, anyway, you kinda have to watch the halos to know that and i dont see any reason other than trout (and shohei until this year) unless you're a fan.

For the Royals I’d probably go Brady Singer. He’s going to benefit from being the team’s #4 this year. A little relief from pressure

I got Rizzo all day for the Yankees, he was having a great season early last year, they didn't know about his concussion injury until after he had already been playing with it for a large chunk of the season. He's probably past his peak, but I think he's gonna have a productive year.

Correa has a longer track record of success than Buxton does, so I think he's more poised for a bounce back than the guy who's only played more than 100 games once in his career.

Javier Baez wont be able to bounce back because no one needs to challenge him. He swings at everything. So whos pitching to him to give him a chance to breakout anyway. 44% chase rate, second highest in league. No way he bounces back. Never had plate discipline and likely never will
