Agree with you 100% on the purple hammer. It’s the best ball I’ve ever thrown and it works for any lane condition. It’s my bail out ball and has given me so much confidence. Love it and I might just need to pick up a few more. We’ll see how the newer purple hammers are next year with the recent PBA rule on urethane and hardness

I have an 8 ball arsenal, though I only bring 6 to league. (Strongest to weakest) Roto Grip Gem, Dv8 Collision Hybrid, Dv8 Activ8, Roto Grip Idol Cosmos, Roto Grip Hustle Camo, Storm Pitch Black. Those 6 are the ones I typically take with me, but I also have a Purple Hammer and a Dv8 Intimidator Pearl (Fits inbetween the Collision and the Activ8)
Currently sitting at 7 in my arsenal, but want to get up to 9. DNA, Nova (courtesy of JR Pro Shop!), Infinite Physix, Dark Code, Phaze II, Phaze V, Mix. Next plans to add are likely Purple Hammer & HyRoad, but may have to get the new Vintage Teal Rhino Pro (the original was my very first ball).
Being a 2 hander myself I currently have 9 balls in my arsenal which I‘m actively using. I do have more balls that I don’t use anymore. My current bag consists of: Columbia 300 white dot spare ball, Purple Hammer, Attitude control, Purple hammer reactive, Hero solid, Envy Tour(currently my benchmark ball) Katana Assault, Quantum Evo Hybrid and a Prism Warp (I’m getting a mindset drilled to replace it soon) Used to be a big storm guy a while back but I have come to prefer the midlane control the Brunswick brands give me.
Well I started bowling maybe a little over 5 months ago I started off with a purple Brunswick rhino moved to a dv8 glam and now I’m currently throwing a 900 global reality check and gotta say I’m in love with the reality check

Lol cause I have 6 in the closet drilled conventional(failed experiment), another 6 stash balls, and a 9 ball arsenal lol, plus two at the shop waiting on holes. Gave away 9 double drills at the end of the season plus have some odds and ends laying around too. Id put the total at around 30. Somebody in need of some free equipment near Houston TX? 😂

As of right now, I have; Storm Super Nova, Hammer 3-D Offset, Columbia 300 Cuda, Storm Phaze V, Hammer Ocean Vibe, Hammer Raw Hybrid (Orange and Black), and a Hammer Onyx Vibe for when the lanes are toasted, and a Track Spare +. Always looking for more to add for league(s)!
I bowl the Pitch Black, Super Nova, Cuda Pearl, all two handed. I got a $200 coupon and can get whatever ball I want. What ball would u recommend for two handed bowling on some med-dry lanes where the super nova and cuda both hook early? Something smooth with hook at the backend. I was told brunswick infinity
Only at 5 but Im still learning my style for bowling. The Raw Hammer which I used for learning 2 handed bowling, retired that ball. 900 global Eternity, Storm Absolute, 900 ZenU, and a Tzone to make my spare life easier. I typically run the absolute on heavier oil patterns, and then the eternity for when the lanes break down.
i have 7 right now. in order its nova, dv8 intimidator pearl, zen soul, hyroad max, c300 power torq pearl, purple hammer, belmo gold spare. i will soon get iq ruby for the last ball in my bag right after power torq pearl
I definitely dont have 12 bowling balls lol, but my arsenal is a venom shock, idol cosmos, revenant, trend 2, and pitch black. I only bowl league though so im usually just throwing whichever looks best in warm-up.
My 9 ball arsenal is Reality, Zen Soul, motiv pride, Wild Streak, purple, spare, and the oh shit bag is pitch black, pin down wild streak, and an axiom pearl. Lots of times I’ll tote all 9 to a tournament and only throw the purple and pitch black, would simplify how to make those two work on everything since I’m a lefty for sure
Hey question about your Phaze II. It says it is good for medium to heavy oil. The house pattern at my lanes is usually medium but gets lighter as the day goes on. Does the ball hook too strongly or something on lighter oil or does it sorta react the same regardless of condition?

I have zero balls in my arsenal as I'm just starting to try improving at bowling. I have just begun learning two-handed and will probably be on house balls for a while. Also not sure what I should get as my first ball when I do decide (and can afford) to buy one.
What do you think about the radical double cross ? About to pick up one up. On top of that I could get and Adironal DV8 collision or a phase 3 not sure what to get as the reviews don’t really knock other balls.

@@thomasberanek7641 They’re both good options but the Gem sees more use for tournament oil patterns especially in the first 3 or 4 games. My Gem is drilled pin down btw
