I want an Integrated Bidet toilet, but I'm not sure I can afford one. What's my best budget option?”. If this is your question, we've got the answer. My name is Daniel Johnson, I'm your Bidet expert and I'm the owner of ManyBidets.com, where over the past eight years, we've sold over ten thousand Bidets.
Now, there are a lot of inexpensive Integrated Bidet toilets out there. We're talking about brands like OVE, Woodbridge, where you get a really low priced item with a lot of features. The problem is, they're going to break down quickly and when they do break down, there's going to be no support for them whatsoever. You may have recalled we talked about this in a previous video, where we actually get a ton of people contacting us about those particular brands, because they break down, they have issues and then they can't reach the company, because the company doesn't have any customer service. For that reason, we've stayed away from entry-level Integrated Bidet toilets, because we don't want our customers to run into that.
Now, the G400, for the longest time, has been the most quality, entry-level unit on the market, but it's very bulky. This one comes in at about two thousand dollars. It's hard to recommend, because it's bulky, it has a very weak flush, it's sittable space is pretty limited, because of how bulky it is in the back. It's actually got less sittable space than some seats do, it's also got limited warm water, so there are a few cons to this unit. Making it one that we don't, generally speaking, like to recommend. What's the good news? Well, the good news is, the Studio Lux SLi 2000 is now on the market. This is made by a Swiss company and they supply a lot of parts to brands like Toto, Kohler and American Standard, for their high-end Integrated Bidet toilets. Let's go ahead and compare. I'm gonna go and lift the lid for this unit. Look at the drastically larger sittable space, look at the back of the G400, versus the back of the SLi Studio Lux; drastically different, unlimited warm water, more comfortable, just all in all a sleeker, slicker, look and this is around two thousand dollars, as well. In the two thousand dollar price point, you have a good option, now, that we're excited about. Now, the SLi 2000 also offers a very powerful flush. That's one of the main issues with the G400, because it uses a gravity flush and it doesn't have a lot of gravity to work with. The flushing power on the G400 is pretty weak, the flushing power in the Studio Lux is some of the best on the market. That's another reason why this might be a good option to choose. Now, we know that these units are around two thousand dollars, whereas the OVE and Woodbridge models, some of their entry models can be around a thousand dollars. In that respect, you might think these aren't really budget units, but what these are and why we're excited to sell these and we don't sell the others is that, these are budget quality units. Units that won't break on you and so for the first time, we have Integrated units in the two thousand dollar price range...

Great informative video! How does the SLi2000 compare to the Ecoway TitanDT-300 or the VOVO STYLEMENT integrates toilets?

I have never heard of the Ecoway, so I will refrain from sharing any feedback on that unit, as I can not provide accurate feedback. We just recently started selling VOVO. I like the studio lux a bit better from a comfort side of things. Messing around with both, I also think the Studio Lux is probably slightly higher quality, but again, we've not been selling VOVO long, so what I'm sharing here really boils down to the feel of each. Time will tell if the Studio Lux of VOVO stands the test of time better.

Could you please share your opinion on buying either the Studiolux 2000 vs VOVO TCB-8100W which you also sell and is 1k less. Lastly how would you rate the newest Kohler innate with these three bidets. Thank you so much.

Thanks for your question! We would definitely recommend Studio Lux Sli 2000 over VOVO due to higher quality of build and much better customer service. We have not been able to test out the new Kohler Innate yet so unfortunately cannot provide any feedback on it.

The most you would pay at this time for this unit with all addons would be $2106.90. So no soft seat closure on the one on right also the seat has a massive gap underneath where the seat sits on the basin

All Toto Washlet seats are soft close. This seat is offered in a auto- Open/Close with Auto flush too. The gap you're seeing is viewed from the bottom, which isn't a realistic perspective.

How does the Studio Lux compare to the Bio Bidet Disovery DLX? The price point is the same.

In terms of feature set and price, they are very similar however you'll find that the DLX has a smaller seat and inconsistent water pressure. The SLi includes a 5 year warranty for the base and a 3 year warranty for the top. In our experience, Studio Lux is very responsive and quick to answer any questions and resolve any issues. The DLX by Bio-Bidet includes a 5 year full warranty but once Bemis bought them out their customer service and warranty department has been almost non-responsive. Those would be the big things to consider when choosing between the two.

You are correct, they are new to the US market, so there's not a lot out there on them. We are the first (and currently only) authorized retailer for them online, as their original plan was to keep it in showrooms only. Studio Lux is a Swiss brand with a lot of experience in the industry. They own the factories that make a lot of the parts used it high end TOTO, Kohler, and American Standard integrated bidet toilets. Due to this, and the great longevity we've seen from high end units in these brands, we're very confident that Studio Lux products will stand the test of time. We've also tested the SLi2000 (the entry model) extensively in our test bathroom as our main toilet for use, and have been very impressed with how it performed.

Thanks for watching! The Studio Lux Sli 2000 was recently discontinued and replaced with the Sli 3000 model instead which only has slight differences. Due to these changes the prices no longer come in under that $2500 mark however, these will still be our top recommendations in this price point.

We have not tried it yet, but it's on our list. We expect the flush power to be better, but we still expect it to be pretty uncomfortable. But till we try it, these are all just speculations. We'll share details on the G450 as soon as we have details to share. Thanks for the great question!!

Great question! We're still really big fans of the TOTO Washlet+ Systems, specifically the Nexus, Aquia IV and Drake with either the S7 or the S7A. We also love the SLi 3000 by Studio Lux. They discontinued the SLi 2000 to eliminate an extra seam where dirt and grime can collect but the SLi 3000 is the same great unit, just with one less seam. Thank you for watching!

You can always add a standard bidet seat on top of your current toilet. It is not as sleek but will give you all the features of a bidet with out the higher price tag.

The cheaper ones are hit and miss. How about a under 1000$ video these are way to high for what they offer.

Haha. Low-cost, no-support bidets. I’m 90% sure he’s referring to cheap Chinese knock-offs. Never buy Chinese…not just toilets but everything in life. Buy Japanese, American, German, maybe even Korean. But chinese? Good luck.
