Great video. The thing I found really useful was actually seeing how you'd connect the mic to the phone on the gimbal as I had seen a few other videos showing it struggled to balance it.
Truth to the matter... any mic system will be great as long as there is no clipping or distortion that makes its difficult to listen to... Your demos were perfectly fine as you will NEVER be comparing 1 over the next in a practical situation. Boom. And great video as it proves my point.
Great video Colin, I think the Artisans sounded the most natural. I've been using the Bietrun (v2) with good sound up to 90 feet distance. I went with the Bietrun setup as it does not require line of sight for clear audio like the Rhode wireless did at the time.
Great video. Questions for Boya mic. Is it possible to use the boya microphone with the smartphone in portrait mode? Does the stabilizer struggle more? And doesn't the microphone beat on the handle? Thanks
If the mic picks up every rustling leaf, sound of your breathing, clothing brushing on everything, birds 50m away chirping etc... how do you turn down the sensitivity of these type of mic systems? Do dead cats help, even if the mic has foam cover?
They all sounded pretty good, I mean, I didn't find any of them really bad? I was expecting some to be real cr@p but no. I am looking for a mic to plug into the usb c on my DJI RC2 controllers... one of these might be what I am looking for. I would go for one with a charging case 4 sure
@@ohcolin Do they all work with Android? I notice a few say for iphone only? All of my phones and laptops are Android and PC and the DJI controller is Android.
