Dangit...I like our Tactacam, but I am really liking the Spartans...I am finishing up my next experiment on the Tactacam and Ill have it completed in a few more days...

Does anyone know if you get any flexibility in choice of which cellular provider you want for the camera? I feel the big 3 choices often mentioned, are probably more in the plans choices monthly, than say the resellers or MVNO's that also use the same towers, but wory about compatibility, ie they're SIM CARDS won't work in the camera, say like from Tello Mobile or or Minit Mobile, etc...

Tks for nice video. But....I didnt see any difference in trigger speed. The Live has a wider angle but the young man was as far into the picture in both cameras. Im lookng for the best 4g trail camera on market when it comes for trigger speed. Ive seen some test of that but cant find it anymoore :-( . Most of the cameras are g0fast on pics but not on videos!

Inside the app, under Status Report lies a "Show Map" button. If you click on that, a map pops up and you are able to zoom in on a map to street level and locate the camera.

So what do I need to do with Verizon to get the unlimited photos and videos? I just purchased the GoLive yesterday!

Hey Dylan! That's awesome. Please be sure to get back with us on how you like the camera once you get it up and running. Here’s how to get a cheaper set up... Step 1: log into your Verizon account online. Click on “Account>My Devices>Activate device. You'll be given options one what type of device iPad/mobile device etc, select "other". Follow the prompts and enter the ICCID and IMEI numbers (found on the box or inside the camera) to activate the camera on your Verizon account. (there will be a 1 time connection fee), then it will cost $5 per month through Verizon. STEP 2. Go to SpartanCamera.com and create an account. Once you've created an account go to Shop, and purchase premium credits. Each credit = 1 month of use for 1 camera. 1-5 credits are $4 each, 6-11 are $3.50 each and 12+ are $3 each. STEP 3. Download the Spartan app, use your login information from the account you created at spartancamera.com, add your camera's information and you should be set up. Please keep in mind that the data the camera uses will go against your Verizon account's data. If you have any more questions just let us know! Best of Luck!

15 seconds delay for a live look is pretty useless

All depends on the situation. Over a simple trail, creek crossing etc we’d agree. Over a food plot, food source, mineral site where deer/animals are more likely to linger or feed over time is where the live feature works best.
