I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Draven Marley thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I just got mine replaced today and its a game changer. I had the clunk for a a over a year now. Thanks for the comment otherwise I would have ended up replacing the suspension 😂
A couple adds to your LEDs: swap the fog light bulbs to LED to match the headlights, and also superbright LED reverse lights are great at night, especially on vehicles with tinted windows.
LED bulbs for reverse lights! I have a dark driveway that’s long and shared with two other houses. The brighter reverse lights make all the difference for backing into the driveway
Just got 06 with 75k miles on it garage kept beautiful condition lift kit skid plate blacked out trim aftermarket bad ass suspension it was so worth it and at a great price not freaking 20grand plus took me months and it was worth the patience
Thanks for sharing. Just got a 4Runner last month in preparation to my move to Yellowknife. Definitely will do some of your mods. Cheers and stay safe. EJ
I bought an 04 V8 4R in ‘19. Previous owner did LED swap all around (except fogs). I think interior looks great. LED Headlights were crappy, nice look, but does not throw beam far enough ahead of vehicle. They died out and swapped back for regular halogens (much better).
Great idea for a video, very nicely done. Thank you. I'm almost finished shopping for a 4th gen 4Runner, and it's difficult to find one without substantial frame corrosion. I already had LED headlights, LED lighting kit and the shackle hitch receiver in my Amazon shopping cart, along with several other upgrades.
I love the look of your 4Runner. I’m saving for one of these and hope to have enough early next year (I’m a full time university student working part time lol) and this is the ideal setup I’d go for. How much did your wheels and tires cost?
LED light pods if you like those. You can get cheap ones and also a mounted fuse box for all the extra lights. It mounts on top of your fuse box. You will have to wire it up tho and buy the stuff for it. Those 2 things are around $50
I changed out all bulbs to led every bulb front rear interior the led Headlight bulbs low beam high beam and fog makes a ton of different in brightness compared to the halogens
Best vehicle on the planet. It’s does everything well, with exception of fuel efficiency. I love my 2007 4Runner. I’m following this gentleman to copy his mods.
I always go with cheap light bars pods and offroad lights in general they get smashed or stolen not out much money vs a 2000 dollar light bar gets smashed that is a but clenching sad ouch moment
Great vid, good tips and most mods. Those “hooks” up front are tie downs for when the vehicle was shipped over her from Japan. They are NOT recovery points.
I have a 07 I love it... had it since july 2016 the only thing is its 2wd which is cool but i shouldve got the 4wd. do you guys think its still worth keeping and upgrading or sell it and buy a 4th gen 4wd? Id hate to part ways with her though
@@Theyralltakenfu I got mine from RCI OffRoad Link here. rcimetalworks.com/product-category/toyota/4runner/03-09-4runner/ I have the raw aluminum, they have sales on most holidays with about 10-15 percent off. Hope this helps
Canadian Gearhead I bought the onzium lights listed in the description, I got the neutral white but they aren’t near that bright. What color did you go with?
Can I find you in a few years and buy that 4Runner off of you? That things *perfect.* Absolutely gorgeous. (And 105k less miles than my RWD V6 SR5 4Runner)
Good looking truck sir! You had mentioned the front leveling kit did you go with the 3" kit? Any way you could mention what size tires you were able to run
@@CanadianGearhead Thanks man I appreciate it I just purchased a 05 limited looking to get it looking more like your and less like a soccer moms suv lol
Hi man great channel thx for tge info...i have a few questions if u dont mind takin the time to answer them pls... 1.what do u do for spare tire and tire jack? original dount wont work in an emergency im guessing? 2.do u have an Instagram page for pics of the trucks/networking?
A few years ago I traded my 06 Tundra for a 5MT Subaru. I later found about the same time someone pioneered the way to a 5MT swap the tundras using the 9x-02 Tacoma’s. It requires a custom bell housing between the engine and transmission. Other than that do you know if it is feasible to do something similar in these? I’d definitely want to do that versus repairing/restoring the auto trans.
@@CanadianGearhead nothing lasts forever. I'm just thinking this route versus rebuild/replace. Then I'd get the even more awesome Toyota manual transmission. She sits on 303,5xx miles (488435.9 km) currently.
Have you done a video about attaching that light bar on your luggage rack? I've been thinking about doing that, but I don't know how to get the bar to attach to the rails.
Hey man, have you ever thought about doing the VSC-OFF switch mod? There is only one competent video done on it here on RU-vid, but the 4runner has to be shut off, then restarted again to disengage it, which I don't like and not for me. Just curious about your thoughts on it.... Cheers from Nova Scotia.
carry a winch or a come-along with lots of rope if you are off roading with 2 wheel drive . A couple of steel stakes and a hammer to pound them into the ground so youll have something to tie on to with your winch if there are no trees around .
Bro. Do NOT go Chrome: Blechfght looking imo...My int. LEDs made my 4th gen 4runner feel like it got a mid-run refresh, same w/ the stereo. They also keep the battery from dying if a door is open. And: YES The factory rake sucks! Your tailgate lights are epic. Sorry dude... nerding out hard today on your 4runner today 👀 🤑🤪🤩🥺🙊👍🤘
@@CanadianGearhead well if you ever get rid of it, I’ll gladly take it off your hands. Haha. I haven’t been able to find any that also cover the areas to the right and left of the grill.
my 2005 runner came with chrome wheels. the wheels themselves are just fine in looks but the chrome i don't like. so primered the wheels with few coats some gloss black spray paint definitely under $100.
@@Rubie_the_Black_Widow_Subie somewhat. Its my first time painting wheels. I put all terrains and some of the paint chipped off. I might do another coat.
@@jameskocks4734 yeah this was my first time painting (my projects on my car - this channel). I had chrome on my fog light bezels, but I guess I sanded through the chrome crap enough that it turned out just the same as the plastic bezel.
@@Rubie_the_Black_Widow_Subie i also have an 18 wrx. I have done a few things to it but its mostly pro modified. I have a few interior mods in mind though.
I have the cornfed 3 inch front and 2 inch back. For that it was like $250 so I'm sure a lesser lift is cheaper. Been 4 years and it's solid, even with some crazy offroading. Handling is decent too
Check out Toytec. I installed their 1/4" front spacers (P/N TP14). Lifts the front about a 1/2" with zero issues. They improve the ride because the front suspension bottoms out less frequently.
