These were incredible! Everyone loved them and that crunch was fantastic! Since I’m celiac, I substituted the regular flour with gluten-free 1-1 flour and no one even knew! The entire family enjoyed these delicious nuggets - even my hubby said, “Don’t lose that recipe!” It’s been so long since I’ve been able to enjoy crunchy chicken nuggets - and it was so easy! Thank you so much!
The crunch on that batter at the end…. Mouthwatering. Got to try this one - well done on your success Jack - it’s so lovely to see how your views and subscribers are rocketing…. Just a brilliant brilliant channel 😊
These look fantastic Jack, I would never have thought to make nuggets out of mince. Quick question, are these freezeable And, if so, how would you go about re-heating them? Oven or even Air fryer ... cheers
I made these tonight and the kids loved them. My autistic son, who is the pickiest eater, couldn't get enough of them! Such an easy and quick recipe as well. Best part, the kids said they don't want the fast food nuggets anymore!
This is the second recipe of Jack’s that I’ve tried and once again, the instructions were easy to follow, although I made mine smaller. This one took a bit more effort and was messier, but it was worth it. The kids loved it, but so did their dad and I!
I've gotta be honest your videos are so good so easy to follow and the food is amazing ,could you do more meal prep ones for weight lose and add the calories at the end ??
These look amazing! I am going to make them in an air fryer and see how them come out, or bake them. Question, can we use AP flour instead of corn flour or starch?
Tried this last weekend. An absolute winner. Only thing i’d say is that I would make the nuggets between 25 to 30 grams each. 40 grams felt a little too big. Other than that, 10/10!!
Gosh....that crunch sound just got me....😁😋😋😋 And I've just had my dinner... Damn....Nice one Chef Jack...simple and yummy yummy...also love the flavours in the Mayo...(i remembered your Mayo video and had a laugh) someday you should do a video on all the goof ups..it will be fun...your videos always have fun factor..i can imagine myself rolling watching the goof ups 😄Take care my fav Chef...Have a great evening 💕💕💕💕
Haha, you can always have seconds 😋 Honestly, I don't have that many mess ups but I do have a couple stored away for a rainy day. Once I get enough, ill definitely make a video showing it all haha! Have a great evening, Smita. Thank you!
Hi jack awesome video as usual, just wanted to ask how long could you keep the mayo you make in this video in the fridge. is there a website or check list of how long you can store different foods in the fridge or freezer?
This is a recipe that I'll definitely be trying soon. My autistic son is obsessed with chicken nuggets. Thank you for posting such easy recipes. I am finding many that my son, who's a finicky eater, will enjoy.
See, one good thing about McDonald’s nuggets is portion control. They give me 6, I eat 6. I get the 10 piece, they’re gone. Your nuggets look dangerously delicious!
Nice, good to see you making fresh mayo mate. Tried this out myself with one little tweak, the coating for the nuggets. try this, take several egg whites, not a problem if you made the mayo... Beat by them as you would to make a meringue minus the sugar. Take it to "soft peaks". Sift corn flour into a bowl. roll the nuggets in the egg whites then in the corn flour. fry them off. This is how you make that cool, crunchy Chinese takeaway style sweet n' sour coated pork or "popcorn chicken".
Lol..I'm on a quick break from work where I'm slowly losing the will to live. But that was an enjoyable 5 mins. You could really impress people serving those up. And I heard the crunch too. How cool. Thanks for sharing Jack 👍😊😀
Noob question here... what do you do with the oil after frying? can you reuse it or must it be thrown away? Never fried stuff since ive always been bothered on how so much oil could be potentially wasted
Yum!! Another dish I love. I've got to try your nuggets Jack; certainly listening to how crunchy your batter is. I'm sat here drooling over the thought haha 🤤 yet another great and inspiring recipe from you and as I've said before I really do enjoy your channel ☺️ it's great to see your channel growing and seeing you're passionate about cooking and food
Hey Jack I just wanted to ask you what do you think about adding MSG? Every fast food restaurant adds it, Joshua Wiseman promotes it, but some say it is very unhealthy. I would really appreciate your opinion buddy. Than you very much
I have it in my kitchen just don’t use it as often as I should. It got given a bad name but it’s actually not as bad as some people say it is. It’s a great flavour enhancer and you’re more than welcome to add some to recipes. Just make sure you balance the amount of salt you’re adding if you use msg 👌
Hi Chef, wanted to make this but before i set out to buy all the ingredients, could you tell me what flavourless olive oil is or a brand that does this? I don't want to buy the wrong oil.
@@ChefJackOvens Thank you so much for the quick response that's really helpful. I brought a deep fat fryer recently so i could make your fried chicken recipes and not have to worry about the temperature being incorrect.
There is literally a chicken nugget shortage in my country (even mcdonald’s has stopped selling their chicken nuggets since the start of the pandemic😭😭). Cant wait to try your version
Really nice job on this one Jack. Thanks for sharing. I have always made my nuggets with chopped pieces of thigh meat. I can't believe I never thought of using ground chicken. Simpson moment I guess ;) Happy Cooking, UB
Great job, chef! I find gluten free flour so dense it over powers the flavour of everything.....would covet you doing a gf version of these and other flour based recipes...😼
Tried this one and whilst good...I'm not the biggest fan of batter. I'll go a panko bread crumb mix next time and I'll reckon it'll be sweet as...and next time I will do the mayo mix. Thanks for putting a recipe I can get the kids into though :)
You’ll get a more authentic nugget using mince. Breast or tenderloins would be more of a chicken strip than a nugget but I completely get what you’re saying. 😊
They can be frozen. Without me having to explain it every time, I recommend checking out this recipe on my website. It has all the info about this 😊 www.chefjackovens.com
@@ChefJackOvens Switzerland (Canton Zürich). It's possible to find minced chicken rarely in supermarkets. I'll probably just make some mince myself to try your recipe.
"CAN'T Change Your MIND??? Well, I WON'T!🌞!Ah! You make it with "GROUND" chicken? Excellent! I have my own "SPECIAL" recipe 😉😉!!!😉 I will definitely try yours soon! Yours might be less timely? Maybe not? I tenderize tenders in the fridge overnight (in my "SPECIAL" solution😉😉)

1 tsp 5g of salt and white pepper is very strong and can easily overpower anything if you add too much. As I always say, you can always add, but you can't take out haha
