Chili Recipe:
Brown 1 lb. of 80/20 hamburger
1/2 diced onion then drain.
Simmer on medium high heat...
Then add 1/2 cup Hunts Ketchup
1 tbsp. yellow mustard
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt / 1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. butter
Then pour in a 10.5 oz. can of beef consomme
Simmer for 30 minutes... stir every 5 minutes
When done set aside... freeze any unused chili sauce.
Season up your burgers with salt, pepper, onion powder, and
garlic powder then grill your burgers. Add American Cheese.
Put the cheeseburgers on buttered buns and add mustard.
Then add raw diced sweet onions then your chili.
Now fry a couple eggs "over easy" or "sunny side up" so the
yoke is soft. Put an egg on top the chili then the top half of
the bun.
Cut the burger in half and serve!
