@@CityZilla how many times a day do you say "jump right in" because I'm 3 minutes into the video and you've said it 8 times already. People must roll their eyes a lot around you.
i really want and missing custom assets, like a KingLeno having amazing job in cities 1 with custom houses and commerces, i missing this in citiies 2 😢nice video again, grats from Brasil
Make sure next time to include Road Builder, it's a new mod that allows you to create your own custom roads with different lanes, shoulders, platforms and mediums
Dear Cityzilla, could you please make a guide for graphics, map themes and detailing from a visual point of view? I loved your graphics guide CS 1. Perhaps these are still early days fpr such a guide, but eventually I would really appreciate one.
Yeah, I could make something like that. I probably will wait for a few mods that need to be updated first though but I'll keep it on the list of upcoming episodes 😁
Thanks for the content. RE 529 tiles - so I can buy a group of tiles to create a remote industry or country town, then pause, use the mod to unlock all tiles so i can build connecting infrastructure without using anarchy, then re lock those tiles?
Yeah, same for me. I haven't fully unlocked my excitement yet because of this exact reason. There is still a lot of limitations to this game. I think the visuals are worth it though. The cities just look so good! 🥹
Is there any mod to remove the slowdown that happens? My 12600kf is struggling only under 80000 sims, and I would really love to keep building the same city.
I'm not sure, sorry about that. I have used coastal cities like Seattle a few times for specific builds but I don't think I have used Seattle for a whole city
Yeah, I was really hoping a lot of these were going to be in the base game as well. They may have left them out so the mod developers could continue to improve them though
The best mods for this are either preserve photo mode or lumina. Both do have some conflicts right now but they help to make the game look a lot better in my opinion. 😁
I’ll be staying with cities skylines 1 for now. The mods are better and you can basically get props and assets for anything Hopefully cities 2 adds them
Not yet, the developer has said it is a function he is working on bringing to the game though. The code is cs2 is a lot more complicated than in cs1. Hopefully here soon though we will see it. That's my most missed feature out of any mod right now
The UI has the most bugs I have found. Certain mods when they conflict with each other cause the buttons to disappear. I would use skyve to see if you are using any known conflicts or play around with mods to see if you can find the culprit. Preserve photo mode has given me a few problems like this so I don't use it right now
I would first make sure all of your graphics drivers are updated as this can have an impact. Second I would instal skyve and see if you have any mods with known issues. One of these two has a high chance of showing you where the problem is.
There are some conflicts with certain mods that can mess with the UI. Preserve photo mode I know has some conflicts. I have skyve installed to help me navigate mods.
Yeah, I'm currently on a laptop rtx 4090. I play on 4k low and it works well most of the time. I can run it on high but it gives me a lot of frame skips.
