If you fly RC a lot it's inevitable. Even the best pilots have a bad day once in a while. Could be your engine cuts mid-flight, or your retractable landing gear won't deploy or a gust of wind catches you out. These are skilled pilots. They just had a bad day at the office.
Filmed at various RC shows around the UK by Dom Mitchell using the Panasonic AG-UX180 Pro 4K camcorder.

Yeah it looked like it might have got out unscathed! If there's a plane that could "breakdance" like that without anything digging into the ground and getting ripped off, well, I guess it'd be the B2. :P

It makes no sense. How some people get into really advanced airplanes and they never use the rudder not even once.

I think different people have different views. Many people's opinion: stall Engineer, scientist opinion: lack of thrust Veteran pilot's opinion: pilot's delay in judgment

Matthew Perkins I really only fly 3D (I’ve also got a 60 in p47 with retracts though), but I have no idea. I’ve been flying since I was about 8-9 yrs old, and even as a little kid I remember wondering why the hell all the old guys with warbirds can’t fly worth a shit😂. I spent a lot more time flying than building, so maybe that’s why lol

@@austinantcliffe9159 majority of the guys in my club are afraid of flaps. it's a real head slapper. I'm mostly 3D myself, however i'm making a foray into warbirds... with a don smith tigercat. maybe we'll see me in crash landings 2020!
