Video Ideas: 1 How money works and how to manage it 2 How to get good at sales (What book recommendations do you have?) 3 What do you think are the most important skills to succeed? 4 What treding things that might not be truly useful for us (as we lack critical thinking to debunk those ) 5 Is a personal brand worth it?
Definitely one of your best videos bro. I remember you brought some of these points up during our consult (which was absolutely worth it - thank you). I think there's something to be said about having some balance in your life, too. Of course it makes sense and your advice is spot-on regarding living in a 2nd or 3rd tier city and keeping expenses low. But at the same time, at least me personally, I think it's important to go out at least once or twice a week to decompress and live your life. Head to the beach, meet a girl, play sports with friends etc. Money's not of much use if you're socially stunted or your health fails you.
100% - I am a huge believer in taking at least 2 days off every week. Maybe I am projecting here but I always feel like if you tell someone "take 2 days off" then they take 3 days off hahah so I figured that if I say "no days off" then people might say "well I am going take 1-2"
I understand it could be very smart to get a job in Hong Kong or Singapore for the networking opportunities, despite the high cost of living. However why not Thailand or Argentina to live a life with low cost of living? You mentioned you could live under $700 in certain places but didn't mention where
OP, those are exactly my thoughts. Besides, if you are working remotely as an independent contractor/consultant in IT, I do think it's not totally senseless to look at Argentina for example, especially if you come from a country with a practically worthless passport, and you are not yet making six figures. It can actually help you save a lot of money. And there's a thriving community of engineers to support you in your professional journey as well. And then there's Tango, if that's your thing. Culture isn't meaningless.
@NearShoreLiving Perfect thank you! By the way if you create an online community so we can support each other and make money while it's still relatively easy then I would definitely invest in it.
I like your message, but I'm in Bangkok and it's full of very successful people making tons of money. And they choose Bangkok for the city, not the prices. Same reason I'm here.
Agreed. I personally really like BKK but I think the majority of young ppl (18-22 years old) who end in BKK end up in Khao san road partying all day instead of meeting guys like you to network/teach them about business. My point was that it's best to avoid those places when you're impressionable since it's hard to resist the allure of just wasting your time chilling for 6 months at hostels instead of working. Not sure if that makes sense. But, yeah BKK is a solid spot.
