The whole Tree incident from 76 is because ...there was one tree which covered up a very important view point and it was so large you could not see anything So the americans wanted to cut it down They send a few boys, but the Koreans killed them all (first dispatched team) After that things got hot because they railed up the whole military (Americans) with tanks, helicopters, planes etc as "means of defence" when a special team was cutting it down. That nearly re-ignited another war
@@thatdamncrow9197 The reason why they got killed is because koreans wanted the tree to remain in the same place because it gave them cover from sight from one of the outposts
@@chaosXP3RT all the Americans who were dispatched to cut down the tree during the first time died, but not during the second. For a blithering idiot I added explanation marks who I am referring to in case you think it was the Germans
As a french i'm rather proud of poles switching side to defend haïtians instead of slavery my country was trying to enforce, great humankind moment right there.
I would personally like to say im subbed to his channel so keep it up MrSpherical. Also America vs tree was a true story and it almost started the second korean war and possibly WW3. The tree was on our side of the dmz (south korea side) so we had the ability to chop it down. 2 american generals were killed during this event. North Korea killing them was an act of war against the usa. 14 hours after the death of the 2 generals, north korea said the us commited an act that was going to lead to war, even though north korea did all the things they said the us did.
I used to think PWA was slightly better because of the mouths that MrSpherical used that made the country balls a bit off. Now I realize that they are equally as good
@@magisterthefirst he's still the legendary countryballs animator for most of us. But sadly he left and the only trending countryballs channels are pwa and mr spherical
8:37 the story is that there was a tree that blocked the view of a south korean outpost but it was in the north The south koreans tried to cut the tree but the northern troops got there
BlueJay's description of the Korean Tree incident is hilarious, since the show of force just kept getting bigger and bigger as he's describing it, going as far as having a whole aircraft carrier group at battlestations stationed off the coast, just for "a little backup"
During the incident the south korean and american armies were on full alert for war while like over 200 soldiers 50 withs martial arts and sricks 50 with pistols 100with guns 2 nuclear bomber alot of alterely guns 2 aircraft carriers 5 attack helicopters 5 jets and 10 normal helicopters and all of these were protecting 2 people that were cutting it down
Man when we get pissed, we grab our hockey sticks and damn you better run or else we’ll slap shot you into space. That’s the real reason why we play so much hockey.
I want a countryballs tv show too. I've wanted a tv show of something like countryballs to exist even before I knew what countryballs was. We need to make a petition for Cartoon Network to make something like this. (Not Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon would just ruin it.)
US: Pledges allegiance to the British and apologizes for the Boston Tea Party Britain: Rejects it and sends more troops to Boston, cuts off their charter and gives land to Quebec 100 years later Canada: Wants independence Britain: gives independence USA: sad Olive Branch Petition noises RIP Olive Branch Petition
Your videos always make my day ! I love your videos as I am interested in geopolitics👌 . But the problem is that you always upload video when there is night in my country 😐and I exhaust my entire data before night . I think you should upload video in the most suitable time for all regions 🙏 hope you pay attention to my suggestion . Thanks !
I'm pretty sure Canada asked nicely after TWO failed Revolutions..... ...so kinda doesnt count. If you want a 'Meh, sure" moment, got look at Australia. Perfect timing. After aforementioned Canadian issues, two Boer Wars in South Africa, the American Revolution in the US, the Maori Wars in New Zealand, and even things like the Boxer Rebellion in China... not to mention Ireland.... things were...... well.... yeah.... you can imagine... in Ireland, and now dealing with burgeoning nationalism even in their jewel in their imperial crown, India......well when Australia decided to federate and become wholly independent a nation, rather than collection of loosely affiliated, kind of autonomous colonies, they just decided upon such, and the UK was like 'um, OK?..."
@@MrSpherical There was no war that "Canada" fought to become independent. He's talking about the Canada rebellions that happened in the 1830's. Canada didn't ask for independence until 1867. To suggest that the majority of Canadians actually wanted independence but simply sat around for 30 years because they were to scared to do anything is ridiculous. Most Canadians come from Britain and wanted to maintain the culture! Same with Australia, that's why we're both part of the commonwealth.
