For spends below 10L forget plat travel. Just get sbi cashback for online & atlas for offline spends.. sbi is credited back to statement & atlas points can use to book basic economy flights. A person who is unable to spend 10L+ has no interest in splurging in 5 star stays. Rather will stay in a 3 star and have multiple cheaper trips
@@PerAnnummoney type of hotel chosen by person 10L and below spending is very critical. These guys are way ahead in their financial journey to easily say gather marriott accor points. But for common man thats useless. Rather book 3/4 star hotels
THE QUESTIONS YOU ASKED ARE THE SAME THAT I GOT IN MY MIND ...... ANYWAYS THE MOST HELPFUL PART OF THIS VIDEO SI THAT CALCULATIONS AND REWARD RATES THAT YOU ARE SHOWING ON THE SCREEN ..... VERY VERY USEFUL AND WONDERFUL TECHNIQUE OF EDITING THOSE THINGS ... THANK YOU SO MUCH ..... I SUGGEST YOU TO MAKE VIDEOS ON ALL AIRLINE PROGRAMMES ALL HOTEL PROGRAMMES AND HOW TO GET THE BEST VALUE OF REWARD POINTS OR EDGE MAILES ... ETC EC
Bro it's not that easy. you need to spend a lot of time checking where you get the best deal and plan your travel acc. to that. Also he probably spent a lot just to save 8L. Unless you are spending 20L on credit card bills, and plan to stay in costly hotels, this won't work.
@@PerAnnummoney I did but those just read the brochure. Those we are already aware. Some experience from actual users who can share tips on how to optimise would be great
who is the target audience? you are interviewing riches, to give example for middle class card user ??? 18 lakh expenditure for marriage? how many indian do that? and do you think all vendorstake cardpayments ? if any marriage is arranged? only event planners do,
Sir we have taken 1:2 value for points transfer for Atlas because you get 1:2 conversion for edge miles. So, hence spends would ideally be half of what you quoted. 15-18 lakhs.
@@PerAnnummoney 62k Edge Mile(Flight) + 13K (Accor) = 75k (example in video for 2L benefit) At 2 Edge Mile per 100rs (Base Rate) you can get 75k Edge Mile just by spending 15L ?
Sir 2 Edge miles when transferred to Axis' travel partners except Marriott you get the conversion value of 1:2. This means if your get 2 edge miles and you transfer it to Vistara you get 4 Club Vistara points. And also you get bonus milestone edge miles at 3 Lakhs, 7.5 Lakhs, & 15 Lakhs.
@@PerAnnummoney Thanks. Do you still think that Axis Atlas makes sense? It is highly restrictive in terms of spending avenues (does not support fuel, insurance, wallets, utilities, government related, jewellery, rent, and many others). Plus these limitations do not apply just on milestones, they apply on normal rewards as well. So where would a person actually use the Atlas card now? If we limit it to just travel, how many people would be spending 6 lakhs plus in a year just on travel (assuming spend based on cap of 30k per year @5% in travel category).
Rent as a category isn't that rewarding as it used to be. Almost all banks have devalued their cards that used to offer reward points on rent. But here is one card that you can still explore: IDFC Vistara Credit Card - Offers you 1 CV point on every Rs. 200 and rent payments are counted towards the milestone benefits of premium economy flight vouchers.
@@PerAnnummoney Isn't it still a good deal ? Assuming you pay 40k per month as rent. Rounding it to 4.5L spends per year. Interest earned on IDFC Savings account for that 40k each month - 232/- (2784 pa). You also earn 0.5% miles. so, it would 2250 miles pa. Roughly 5k in benefit and this should compensate 1% loss in processing fee for 4.5L (4.5k). On top of this, you get 2 upgrade vouchers, and 4 free premium economy flights + with those rent payments every month..lounge stays active every month. If you pay these CC payments via HDFC Billpay - you get 4.8k back. That should compensate your joining fees + free credit limit and liquid cash and kick that rent payment rotation to one month late. I'm yet to move into a rented flat,🤞lets hope idfc and vistara offers stay intact post the merger.
Do go for magnus anymore, I have it but since 2024 they have degraded the value badly. Earlier they used to provide vouchers for the annual fees but not anymore
So, Diners used to have partnerships with fine hotels across the world some years ago wherein if you book hotel stays via a Diners you would get such valuable discounts. But as of today this benefit has been withdrawn by the Diners Club.
