I tend more toward South Indian versions (palak pappu, sticking with toor and moong, especially moong).The difference is not that huge, probably mostly ixnay on the karuri methi and in with kari patta). some will add sambar powder to palak pappu, as well. I will try this one, though.

This title should be changed to pancharatan dal with so many dals anyone can get gas in the stomach & tomato has become expensive in India same recipe if it was shown without tomato it would have been better
