Watched the entire thing, great summary, I think Concepts speaks to me the best. Went to school for graphic design decades ago & have forgotten much of it (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator). Would have wanted to continue with Adobe Fresco but since they haven't brought it to Android yet... their loss.
Sketchbook: My favorite (low latency and it has a really friendly UI) Concepts: It's also low latency, infinite canvas and the UI is very nice and clean Clip Studio Paint: It's not low latency, but it's not bad and it's the most complete app among all the others.
Am I the only one who thinks concepts is interesting? Coming from Adobe Flash days, Vector based drawing apps sound great. I'm so happy someone is making a mobile vector based drawing app.
I'm used to drawn on Autodesk Sketchbook, I've done some amazing photorealistic black and white portraits there. I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, so I am willing to try new apps that make me more productive with fantastic results too.
Thanks this video was very well made, I think I'm going to try Concepts it very got my attention. I used Ibispaint but I want to try something different
Thank you, Teoh. Your videos factored into my Samsung tablet purchase decision. I got the new s8 11 inch with 256 gb storage. I hope to do some drawings like you show.
Hello can anyone help for how to get clip studio if the region won't allow to, or any idea how to change to region in Samsung tan s6 lite, any help is appreciated.
Amigo, una duda, a ver si me podrias ayudar.. cuando exporto las imagenes por el tablet, solo exporta en modo ".tiff" y necesito en png o jpg. Como podria lograr eso? Gracias!
Great video, thanks. Can you actually make good art with disc tip styluses? I'm not worried about the palm rejection issue, that can be remedied with a glove, but everything else. I want to buy a Xiaomi Redmi tablet because that has some sort of low eye strain technology built into the screen but unfortunately it doesn't support active styluses.
please, can you use app infinite design on matepad 11?, i'd like to buy matepad 11 but i don't know it eill support on my dialy app infinite design. thank you
Hi Teoh, I was wondering how do you personally ink/vectorize your sketches? Do you do it on Tablets as well? I still do my vectorization on my PC, and its quite time consuming and I would be happy to hear any suggestions :)
IBIS has the best filters available for photographs, but Infinite has a crazy amount of textures already uploaded. Also, in the lest of types of brushes, there is on where you can store the brushes you duplicate, and customize yourself, but there's a catagory named "downloads" where Infinite users upload their brushes for anyone to use, and they are all free. The customization features on this, as all the apps are pretty great with thier functions, Infinite is more precise in my opinion, and once again. The stabilizer, or "SMOOTH" feature is the best of any of the programs I use. Each brush needs to be adjusted to your liking, and it's a great that they do it this way, because some brushes have more control then others, but you can adjust it to a single number percentage. Sketch book has a lot of useless brushes, or just the same brush that has been customized already. I began with Sketchbook and Ibis, and I loved them both, but Infinite Painter, once I figured a few things out, I rarely go to either of those two apps. The interface is so user friendly it's stupid, and there's the great corner double arrow option that clears any tool bars away so you can use your whole screen for drawing on.
Agreed. Infinite for me is the best overall, it is so great and powerful yet lightweight on my phone Samsung A22 and give an awesome result for paintings
I like all these apps, but what I dont like is most of the fill bucket are not nearly as perfect as csp in desktop ver. And im broke so i cant subscribe to csp in android when I already bought them in my pc :/ I wish i can find one
The bad thing with Huion sketch, which is really unusual is that its not available for apple or windows even if you have a huion tablet attached to the computer, which i find is super inconvenient, but great video as I'm looking at getting the xppen magic drawing pad for a new drawing tablet..😁😊
2:10 I just bought the s7 FE and I do have this problem, my hand leaves dots and lines.... Anyone know if I need to adjust something on the tablet or directly on the app to solve this problem?? Thanks.
Just turn on pen mode, or strict palm rejection. Not all apps have that feature though. After which, the app will be able to difference pen from finger/palm, and there will be no stray strokes even if you want to. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RX8UqWgSCO4.html
Hi Teoh, I've recently bought an Samsung S7 Fe. Do you use a tempered glass on your samsung s7 plus? If you do, can you tell me what brand it is and does it affect the pressure sensitivity of the pen? Thanks!
Hi Teoh, I had a question,if the default pen tip of my s-pen gets finished, will the other third party tips allow pressure and tilt sensitivity? Thank You
@@teohontech7141 But I didn't ask that.I said "If the original s-pen gets over, will other third party tips will contain the features of tilt and pressure sensitivity that s-pen offers" ??
Disappointed Android does not have Sketch Club... But I'm so done with Apple after some not so good experiences. Too paranoid to say what it was but it left me not being able to trust Apple again. Does not feel safe anymore! The only reason I keep my iPad Pro is because of Sketch Club. Can't wait to get an Android tablet. The things I've missed out on though just because I were so into Apple tablets 😅
Hello :) thank you for your video !!! I have difficulties to choose between the ipad pro m2 12.9" and s8 ultra... which one is the best about the drawing experience ? Do the s8 ultra have a lot of lag with the pen ? Is it a bad idea to buy an iPad if i'm not in the apple ecosystem with my other devices ? Really lost about it
For drawing, both tablets are on par in terms of drawing quality and variety of drawing apps. iPad advantage is there are more graphic design apps that handle layout, typography, vector. No lag with S8 Ultra. If you're using Windows, you can get Apple too. If you use Apple, you can get Samsung too. Choose based on the app you want to use.
Which app allows to make draving in particular size? ( gives a mm grid on background or allows to make measured square for example 3x5cm and then inside it I can make my draw) And of course print it out in exact size.?
I just received the Huion H1060P drawing tablet as a gift. I'm fairly new to drawing and totally new to drawing digitally. What app do you recommend for a total beginner? I will be using a windows 10 HP laptop with the drawing tablet. I want to keep it simple to start. To begin I will likely only sketch for watercolor painting outlines and progress from there.
Hi, I'm looking into drawing stickers to print and digital planner stickers. Which one of these apps would you recommend? I have an android phone, and I'm a beginner. Thank you.
Technically you don't need to buy a separate license. You can always project your pc screen on to your tablet assuming they are capable and compatible.
After a while I think one just becomes creature of habbit. There are better art apps on Android, but I always go back to Artflow. I have my brushes set the way I like. I like the Huawei one, but I’ve had it crash too many times on complex drawings, so I just revisit it, to look at the updates.
Can i work on avarage manga drawing on A7 tablet especially with clip paint studio. I'm currently working with pen tablet deco v2 on my HP pavilion laptop with GTX 1650 processor, yet sometimes it lags, it's not smooth. So i wanna change to pc free screen, i.e to tablet. So is Samsung galaxy tap A7 good?
My daughter has a Samsung Tab A7, so no S Pen, and recently is interested in digital art. Is there a stylus you would recommend? Or anything you would suggest?
Great video, I wonder if you or anyone on this form could recommend great apps for learning how to draw I'm a beginner and eager to learn. I I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 light
Usually Android tablets that come with the pen bundled, or mentions specifically pen support, will have palm rejection and pressure sensitivity. See my reviews at www.parkablogs.com/tags/drawing-tablet-reviews
I coukd use some practical advice to decide on a very easy to use, free drawing app for android tablet S6 lite with stylus. My primary use is to import photos and convert them into line drawings. Then to make value studies and trials gor composition and color. And to be able to print out full size on A4 paper. In other words as preparation for paintings or mixed media artwork. I'm not computer savvy. So what app is the best one for me?
Simply import your photograph as a 300 dpi image. .jpg .png etc. Into your drawing app on its own layer then draw on top of it. You can change the opacity of the layer that has the photo to very low say 25%. That is how I would do it. No conversion necessary. 300 dpi is necessary if you want it to print well. Setup your canvas size according to print size for example to print 8×10. Make canvas in drawing app 8"×10" at 300dpi resolution. Hope that helps
Which tablet should I buy...? Please suggest me...I want to design stickers....please also tell me about the touch pen ..their types ..I am totally new to this technology
Can you tell me app for tablets which can function as eic pen for desktop version!! Currently i have samsung s7fe I want to write on running screen w/o taking any screenshot!!
im not sure if you have ever mentioned what tablet your using, I'm curious, I'm planning to buy one and I don't know what tablet to buy for graphic arts and illustrations, looks nice the one your using
That's Samsung Tab S7+. It's now gen 8 but 7 still still good if you can find it at a good price. Otherwise you can consider iPad (get the refurbished models from Apple website which are 15% off).
Your reviews on hard- and software are really informative and give a comfy feeling. They helped me decide to buy a tablet for drawing/sketching digitally I always liked to have.
I've a video on that, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SOLlIbqeLQI.html Nowadays I recommend Microsoft Notes because you can use that on phones, tablets and computers
I think its the precision feature in concepts but currently its only in ios only. What i actually mean is if i want a 1meter line i can have a 1 meter line. Anyway. Thanks for the response. I am a fan of your channel.
There are unfortunately no decently priced Windows tablet that are good for drawing. I'm not sure about the Surface Pro 8 though as I've not tested that.
