I am sensitive to noise at night and cant fall asleep even if its mild non-white noise so I was looking for foam earplugs that would fit my needs. I tried: Hansaplast, M3, Bilsom, Ox-On comfort. Some were ok some were very disappointing. But then I tried Moldex pura-fit and those are AMAZING. I cant hear anything, I barely feel them and after several nights I stopped feeling any sort of discomfort. No more neighbors, no more snoring no nothing. So if you are in a search for a decent foam earplug and you keep getting disappointed, try these. p.s dont forget proper insertion. Even the best cant work if they are sticking half way out.

@@TheMoises1213 the Boise noise-masking work well for low level noises I'm hearing. But i don't know how well they would work for louder noises like snoring, you would need to put the sound-level rather high. most sounds available are rather simplistic and not very natural still they can be relaxing. Hope that we can get an upgrade with more elaborate and natural sounds some time in the future. The sleepbuds are very small and sit relatively comfortable in your ear, I still think it is the best device i can get for now.

Why? Because wax dissolves a bit during night in your ear canal. After weeks your ear canal will be full of dump and you will need to go to doctor to clean this up. You are not supposed to put the wax earplugs into your ear canal. Just check the instruction. It clearly says "Form it into a ball (no elongated shape!). Seal the opening of the ear with gentle pressure. Do not insert into ear canal. Use entire earplug - do not split!" They work great for sleeping, especially on the side - no pressure, no falling out. There's also a silicone version which works the same, but without the stickiness of the wax and thus leaves you with clean fingers, clean ears and a clean pillow case.

mt problem with earplugs is that they always have been very uncomfortable and they keep me awake. ive tried many different variations from foam, to puddy silicone and resuable silicone. foam they always make them too big. i guess they arent as effective unless they are sqooshing your ear, silicone is way too rough, i guess my ears are just way too sensitive to its plastic feel. and puddy always falls off in the morning and is very expensive. its not recommended that you reuse puddy, but they are apparently intended to. i on the other hand value my sleep greatly so i just fork over the cash.

Hi, those sound like some really good earplugs, and they're cheap too which is even better. You said that, when you use your earplugs, you pinch them. By pinching them I assume that you mean, like, making one end of your earplugs smaller to go inside of your ears? You also said that, when you are inserting your earplugs into your ears, that you stuff your earplugs deep inside of your ears. Stuffing your earplugs inside of your ears sounds like you force them inside of your ears. Do you actually force your earplugs to go into your ears? Also when you said you stuff your earplugs deep inside of your ears, it makes me curious about how deeply you stuff your earplugs into your ear canals. Do you know how deep that your earplugs on the insides of your ears? Like are they deep down your canals far enough to be close to your eardrums? Honestly, I don't think that you should listen to the people who are telling you not to use your earplugs inside of your ears so deeply. You should keeping using them deep inside of your canals to protect them. I'm glad they help you to sleep well. I'm also curious about a few other things based on your comment. Like, do you know if your ears produce a large amount of earwax or only a little bit of earwax? I ask that because I'm just wondering if you know if you are pushing some of your earwax deeper inside of your canals when you are inserting your earplugs into your ears? Also, I just wanted to know, do you clean out your earwax from inside of your ears? If you do that, what do you use for cleaning your earwax out of your ears? Is it, like, qtips or something like that? And, how often are you cleaning out your ears? Whatever it is that you use for cleaning out your ears, do you know how deep inside of your ears that it goes when you're cleaning your ears? Like, is it deep down enough to be close to your eardrums? And, also, do you know how deep that your ears are? Like from the openings of your ear canals until your eardrums? One last thing I'd like to ask is, how do your ears feel when you have your ear cleaning things inside of them to clean them out? Thank you for reading this and responding to it once you do

Is it normal to sleep with earplugs in and sleep feeling like you’re awake the whole time? Like you are not sleeping at all? I tried Soft Foam for 2 weeks and the quality of my sleep was not that good...
@Mattressclarity
@Mattressclarity 4 года назад
Do you mean that you felt like you were in a light stage of sleep vs a deep sleep? That does not sound right - if anything the earplugs should help you sleep more deeply because they're blocking disruptive noises.

Same lol. I don’t want those things you have to stick up in your ear. I want something like the bose earplugs but that’s just way too expensive. Might just sleep with my apple airpods lol

I am in need of Plugs to block out my upstairs neighbors kids stomping and banging on the floor/ceilings. I have the regular foam ones but I can still hear it pretty loud. Any Recommendations? Something to block out Low

Have you tried speaking to the family about how its affecting your sleep? I have a noisy teenager who shouts on his computer games at night - I shout out to "shut up", it seems to work at the time. Fir some reason people are oblivious if how they can be heard and need to be aware of this.

you can go to the doctor from time to time to get it checked. my doctor could easily clean it using a simple pump and some hot water, the procedure should not be painful.

Wax earplugs are not good. If your ears start to build up oil or sweat it will make them slide right out. Ive tried every affordable ear plug and the truth is, they don’t work. Some are good at reducing noise but there is not one single affordable earplug on the market that actually blocks out pounding and banging or screaming and yelling.

Terrific video. Love the way you presented text...easy to read. These options just reduce the dB up to 32. Are there any that can give us near silence? Maybe with a dB rreduction rating of 50dB? I had to pop in my iPhone et buds to sleep this morning. Did the job... reduced the sound from the condo unit below (machinery running...reno machine left on...). Hardly heard the sound. Don't know how many dB they suppressed...

I'm using similar earplugs to the Bose. The design is longer and more simple, however I'm having an issue getting a proper seal with them in my ears. Does anyone have a tip for getting a good seal? And yes, I do pull ears before inserting, as you should.

Hi, since you've been using earplugs for your ears I just wanted to ask you some questions about it. Thanks in advance. So, you said you use wax earplugs, how do you insert the wax earplugs into your ears? Do you, like, roll them into a cylinder and then insert them into your ear canals longways so that they sit deep inside your ears? Has using your wax earplugs for so many years caused any problems with your ears? Like, did your hearing get worse at all? Or do your ears produce more earwax than they used to? Also, what is the reason that you've been using them every night for so many years? I've also got a few questions that aren't about your earplugs exactly but just about your ears instead, if that's okay. I touched on it briefly before but, do you know if your ears produce a lot of earwax or only a little bit of earwax? Another thing I'd like to ask is, do you clean out your earwax from inside of your ears? If you do, what do you use inside of your ears to clean your earwax out of them? Do you use qtips or something like that for your earwax? Whatever it is that you use for cleaning your earwax out of your ears, do you stick them deep inside of your ears when you're cleaning your earwax out of them? If you do go deep inside with them, do you know how deep inside of your ears that you go? And, also, do you know how deep that your ears actually are? Like from the openings of your ear canals until your eardrums? The last thing I'd like to ask is, how do your ears feel when you have your ear cleaning things inside of them and you've moving them around to clean out your earwax? Do you enjoy the feeling of it? Thank you for reading this and responding when you do so

@@laura-sandy1492 Also, sorry, I missed this with my last comment. Yes you can reuse your wax earplugs for a while. When you feel like they've gotten too dirty and you don't want to stick them inside of your ears anymore, then you can throw them away if you'd like to.

Thanks so much for watching! I think you'll probably like foam or wax because they'll compress as you lay down and put pressure on your ear and they'll be less noticeable. I often wear Mack's soft foam ones and sleep on my side with no issue.
