This is easy to make and very simple side dish to any meat products (not only) light on taste, crunchy, delicious. It has long shelf (refrigerator) life.
Needed:
1 head of cabbage (larger)
2 - 3 carrots
2 Tbsp salt
1 cup sugar (or according to taste)
1 cup vinegar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 quart / 1 liter Hot Boiling water
Best taste will be after 24-48 hours after making this salad - you can make it ahead of time. After making leave to cool off after that place in refrigerator.
This will be your new best salad for any time of year.
