Excellent as always. Very thorough and useable strategies. Have you ever considered creating breeding content? You explain things in Ark so much better than just about every other creator, and I’d be interested to hear your take on stacking mutations. Perhaps even better yet…how about the minimum requirements for official settings to conquer the bosses on each difficulty?? That would be amazing to have someday.
Thank you mate!! I really appreciate that! I have considered doing one before but I did release a short guide a few years ago but no one watched it XD. Admittedly I was pretty new to RU-vid so maybe that was why! I may be able to do the second video though if not! Btw this video is recorded with official settings on a rented server, I'm doing a playthrough currently with a few friends to see if I can beat the Alpha bosses without any heavily mutated creatures. Never tried the Alpha bosses solo without a heavily mutated army so should give me a better insight!
@@BEYPlaysGames How many mutations did it take to get your therizinos to the stats you showed? My best theris have 46 points in health and 43 points in melee without any mutations and I can't get anywhere near the stats you have so I'm assuming you have quite a lot of mutations on them. I've seen and read in a number of places that 22k health and 700% damage are the magic numbers to aim for non-gamma boss battles so it's nice seeing that it's what you went for as well. Keep up the great work!
@@Stephain 46 in health is pretty good. Only your melee is on the low end. With imprinting and levelling you should already get 21k and 500 damage I think. For Beta that should be good enough with good saddles.
I bred a monster line of squids to get through it with my tribe mates and good saddles, it’s a little tight but it’s better than losing all my sharks getting through there right now
@@spencer1342 Damn, I took 10 Sharks with ascendant saddles and a Basi in there and got the job done pretty easy, had to try splitting up the mobs of 100 sharks into 10s to kill them off🤣

Yeah haha, that is the tough part!! Usually see mine around the beach party on the left side of the map (right near the snow) or around the base of the volcano!

I agree, on official 5420 I use one imprinted basilo with good saddle for the ‘hardest cave’ on this list. However I think pack is hardest but that might be because I take the ground route after my wolf can’t go any further (grappling over the croc infested pool to the artifacts) since servers crash all the time the wild creatures respawn and this is therefore a prime time to farm 4+ sails. For the record more than two spinos spawn at the same time
The Broodmother is so easy! Breed a pack of 10-15 megatheriums! They get a bonus buff when they kill the bugs.. increase damage by 250%. and bring a yutyrannus for you to ride. Do the Courage Roar adds 30% damage

Thanks mate!! I would agree that they are easy to get too. I just don't think it's worth it for 56 Element, they need to up the Element rewards for the Brood :(
Regarding saddle Bps. They made them extremely worth while. You will not believe what I got from a ringed red drop. Hear this ok? Ascended Rex Bp Ascended Theri Bp And Mastercraft Riot chest and gloves The medium crop days are over
Haha, I haven't had one that good yet but yeah they are amazing right now, I will always go out of my way to pick up red land beacons! whereas in ASE I'd still ignore drops if they spawned miles away XD...I'll travel across the map for them in ASA :D
I'll trade you the industrial grinder and industrial forge I got out of a single red supply crate. Haha! Crazy good luck getting either let alone both, but I already had a forge and grinder. 😖
Excellent video, but I have to sort out some mod issues before I can even think of implementing the strategies you laid out as I’m quite literally unable to tranq tame anything on our server atm. Noted that tranqs weren’t working, so I tested it on a parasaur… and turned said Dino into a veritable pincushion with no reaction from them. Even took a few lot shots at a wild 145 theri.
@@BEYPlaysGames Your guess is as good as mine. I do think something is wrong with the tranq mod we installed, but it’s apparently working now after an update, so… 🤷♂️ Last night I literally turned a parasaur into a pincushion of arrows, with no increase in torpor. Wild theri shrugged off the 5 tranqs I sent its way. Tried modded and unmodded tranqs and nothing.
Off topic, but I really dislike that I need to use the radial wheel to ride a Diplocaulus. Taking Oxygen should be in the radial wheel. I cannot count how many of them I’ve lost or myself died over the years just because of the precious seconds it wastes. Also on controller, “Take All” from an inventory like a supply drop for instance with LB/L1 should be prioritized over “Transfer All”. Needing to do all the way up to the transfer button is ludicrous in a pinch. LB used to only Take All in ASE. I can see this being even more of a nuisance on The Surface when Aberration comes out.
I hate it too, I don't know why it's like that! I died probably 5 times or more when making this video due to not being able to quickly ride it after grabbing the artifact XD And I also play controller on PC, hate that they changed the way LB works, taking all instantly in ASE was SO GOOD :(

the issue with ape on official is, you can't drag him back to the starting platform anymore, he stops midway on the bridge. It's very risky if you can't whistle your dinos effective as he more than likely will punch ur dinos off the bridge.
Can he even punch them off anymore? Pretty sure they made an invisible wall around it now because I heard that when the game first released people were just dragging the Megapithecus into it to get an easy win, I could be wrong? I've flown into it with my player and there's an invisible wall, but ofcourse I don't play official, don't see why it would be different in that respect though!
Haha, maybe i've gotten lucky then, but he does normally just come straight up to the platform for me so not much risk of them falling off I guess XD@@mybeardrocksyo
On SP at least my megalosaurus team is absolutely wrecking alpha dragon whenever I need element. I ride my yuty, the dragon tries to focus me while the megalosauruses obliterate it. Seems the "they try to grab bosses" bug from ASE is fixed! The snow cave artifact is the only real pain--that and getting tuso tentacles. My gigantopithecus issue is that my dinos seem to love leaping off the cliffs :|
Nicely done! I have never really used Megalosaurus for a boss to be honest haha! That is good though, I did know of that bug! Made me never want to use them if not ridden! XD yeah it can be annoying sometimes! I just try to bait him as far into the terminal platform before attacking, haven't lost a tame to the hole as of yet!
@@BEYPlaysGames I think your theris probably do much better with the big ape. I'd taken rexes in and their turning radius is "lemme just go through that Wal-Mart parking lot over there, back with you in a few minutes" and then they fall out of the world RIP

The ledges did not work for us 2 times as the big ape was successful in throwing stones on the ledge 100% of the time. So he kept on damaging us and pushing us of the ledge. So i think this is fixed by the dev's.
There are 100 sharks in that cave 2 alpha megs and a mosa and like 30 eels in there. The room with the artifact has like 50 sharks allllll fookin pack boosted to 8 constantly. I did the cunning cave with my Meg squad but I can't do the brute one way to many sharks
Yeah it's stupid! I had to fight around 50 in this video to get to the artifact but I was able to split them up into smaller groups which made it a little more manageable!
I have heard! I'm on a quiet server and have no problem finding them, usually just kill all the fish and one soon spawns in! Heard that on populated servers people are blocking spawns though :(
They patched him falling down the hole yeah haha...He can still hit your tames into the hole though is what I've heard...I've been lucky so far and haven't had it happen to me yet!
Meh the crates aren't so good. Best thing is using the Leo buff and finding blue drops. Gives you the likes of JM stuff but the Leo buff, buffs the dura and damage, armour of bps
Good luck finding spino sails on over populated official servers that are heavily built and heavily pillared and foundationed. In 2 months of play I have seen only one spino in the spawn locations.
Well there is one in the video XD...I went straight to the middle river, saw that one where there was also another further down the river and if I don't find any there I will always check the rivers running past green Ob, usually find a few down both rivers but I am on a server where there's only a few bases, I think the problem is populated and official servers people may be blocking some spawns.

On official if doing this solo, you crash at any point you lose it all. Even if boss is dead and u crash during the 40 seconds it takes to leave arena.
Yeah it's super annoying!! Happened to me once and I couldn't log in for ages because of disconnecting in the boss arena, I do hope they sort these crashes out! I crashed about 7 times yesterday after playing for 4 hours so not great :(
tbh I've ran brood BETA before with half decent Rexes but had prim saddles, lost most of my army and only just killed her, it's definitely not that easy lol
@@BEYPlaysGames yeah if you're spino are really in speed spawn that's the best farm 😁 in my server ( i'm not admin ) it's brood alpha because spino are very rare 😅😅
I've ran gamma brood and monkey with 10 Carnos 124 saddles 20k hp after imprint and points, 4 rexs at 26k-30k hp prim saddle my rexs are at 6k-7k hp at birth and 1 low lvl yuti a wild yuti tame around lvl 70-90 don't remember lol I've only ever lost 3k hp from my carnos you want bring rexs to keep aggro from bosses I'm going try Beta monkey later this is on official PvE and am doing this for shits and giggles as I have better rexs just testing stuff. Someone in my server also Said they done it with allos 😂
Nice haha! Carnos and Allos are great tbh! A lot of people underestimate the Carno but they are actually really strong and it's very easy to find good quality saddles for them too! :D
Yeah tried that and got almost insta killed by the flock of Dimorphs, and the Megaloceros I was riding was below half health from taking damage from the Pteranodon's after a few mins. So it's still not as easy as people think, very risky way to play it solo, I did try it on alpha though, still think this boss is way worth it for how easy it is compared! Just depends how easy it is for the player to find Spino sails XD
It depends what type of server/game mode tbh, I heard it's almost impossible to find Spinos on a busy server which would make this method worst for some people :(
