Definitely a great episode. Something I missed when watching and learned from a comment was that the shield Jon used against Ramsey was a Mormont shield. So those 62 men we were all talking trash about actually did make a difference, LOL.

This episode was a roller coaster with a perfect ending 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. As much as I hate littlefinger I was grateful to see him pull up with the nights of the Vale. I definitely agree Sansa should have shared with Jon about the possibility of having the night of the Vale join them as soon as she sent the raven to littlefinger. Holding her cards definitely caused the death of many soldiers that don’t need to die 😞

Sansa purposefully did not tell Jon so that he would act and fight like a commander hopelessly outnumbered. Ramsey only abandons his superior defensive position behind the walls of Winterfell because he believes he has an easy victory against Jon. Telling Jon or anyone else or even speaking the plan out loud risks exposing it. In order for Jon to save his men, he has to tell his lieutenants and the soldiers to refuse to engage and keep withdrawing and that's going to raise a lot of questions. Ramsey is no idiot and pretty soon he'd figure something is up and then march back to Winterfell where he simply wins by default. Mounted cavalry is useless in a siege. There's no military benefit to telling Jon, there's only risk.

This is my favorite episode of the whole series. I love episode10 but there's something so satisfying watching the slave masters and especially Ramsey getting what was coming to them. Ser Davos and Tormund have become my absolutely favorite side characters. Enjoyed y'alls reactions!

Imagine cutting off the cut to baelish and sansa and the triumphant stark theme playing (i know copyright, but you can easily reverb it and keep the visual) to whine and moan she could've let Jon know.dont remember you ruining the moment when Tywin makes his saved by the bell entrance and says "the battle is over we have won" like he couldn't have let Tyrion or Cersei know about his grand plan & thousands woulda been saved. Better yet, how does the huge Tyrell army coming up from the south link up with the Lannister banner in the westerlands without a single scout in westeros noticing? Robb and Stannis musta had real terrible people working for them. Purists are super hypocritical when it comes to the handwaving of the early seasons.

The most absurd of all is the Night's Watch not noticing the 100,000 slow moving wildlings coming straight towards them until they're right on top of them. It's even more ridiculous when you consider that the NW has men called Rangers whose entire job is to scout for wildlings.

If I was sansa I would also hold back the fact that I asked help from baelish, not only because how would I know if he would come, but also because Jon is an honorable fool like daddy Ned and he would straight up refuse any help from Baelish. So if I'm sansa my only choice is to stall him, which she did her best to. Meanwhile, during Blackwater Tywin had zero excuse to not send a messanger to Tyrion to let him know he was coming so Tyrion could retreat behind the city gates and not attack stannis headfirst. But Tywin choice a grand entrance and the fans fawned over it. Double standards.

Tywin arrived with cavalry. Nothing in this world is faster than a horse except for ravens. Ravens are risky because they can be shot down by your enemy who then learns your secrets.

Tyrion is absolutely right. Dany is a total failure as a ruler and her only approach to solving issues is violence. And like barristan selmy said a long time ago, the more she uses violence and people cheer, the more she develops a god complex. It's a dangerous slope to go down on.
