I have had my crock pot for over 15 years. My husband never liked any thing I made in it, until I started watching several of RU-vid videos. Now when I pull out my crock pot he know it will be good. Thanks for the new ideas. I like instant potatoes, but my husband calls them war potatoes because he doesn't like them,

LOL Patrick is still kinda like that with the crock pot, too LOL. He say with crockpot meals - everything comes out the same color, flavor and texture, (and sometimes he's right). But I have searched high and low and experimented (and still do) to find good crockpot meals that are not like that. So we are making believers out of them yet LOL

When I make the Italian chicken ill add a small cornstarch slurry to mack a gravy sauce then put them on rolls .I have that sane dressing I want to make pasta salad .

Hi Mel. I was wondering if you had some recipes for cancer patient. Maybe some vege only? I was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer and would appreciate any plant based meals. I love your Chanel and every looks so yummy. I just am not able to have that yummy food anymore as now I am in a fight against cancer. One thing I know for sure is God is good in all things. Mel, I have a crockpot with the little leg has broken off. I just put the leg back on and use like normal. I like to do cake mix with melted butter also. I have made the dump cakes using the cake batter dry and have eaten some of the cake mix and it has salty taste.

I cook my beans in light water until hot, drain and add butter and parma cheese , very tasty. also, I take cut potatoes, cook until tender, drain, and add butter and some herbs. then, on my plate, I use ranch dressing so it tastes like sour cream and potatoes. try it, i’m going to cook chicken like you do. thanks for sharing.

Great variety of recipes this week! 😋 Question: why do you not mix in the dry ingredients into the crock pot? Don't you want the flavor throughout during the slow cook?

Hi! I’m putting all of these on my rotation for this week! Thanks for sharing! Side note: that mango could have used a few more days. It should be super soft when you slice it. And the pit/seed in the middle you can cut around! 😊

Thanks, hope you love them too! And I was afraid of that with my mango, I put it in the fridge because I wasn't making that meal right away, lol slowed the ripening process down a little too much LOL
