@@TheDarkKnightDetectorist I could not agree more. Keep at it, keep getting out there dedicating time in the fields and who knows what you will find next 🍻

Rudy hell Jason, the look on your face was worth more to me than the Henry 8th hammered, Merry Christmas to you fella, Have a Happy New Year. ATB Bill and Julie X 👍😊🎄🎅
cheers Bill and Julie 😊. I live for those moments. I appreciate these special finds because they are few and far in between lol. I wouldn't have tje same reaction if I was finding them week in week out. merry Christmas to you both and may 2024 be full of amazing finds 😃👍
Congratulations on your Henry VIII hammered! That was one heck of a find! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May your new year is better than this one was. 🎄💖💯
Lovely hammered there, mate. I can only dream about that kind of find, given my quiet permissions. Maybe one day... 🙂 Anyway, it's Jan 2 as I type and it's still raining so my fields are as clarty as yours. I'm expecting to get out detecting somewhere around April 😢
thanks mate👍 and I feel for you on the field conditions and the extra rain and incoming storms won't help much. I may even have to venture onto a club day dig to get my fix lol. keep the faith, you'll find a hammered like that one day. my fields are quiet too but not every inch has been covered 👍
cheers buddy 👍🏻. you sometimes worry about getting a great find on the first hoke and the rest of the hunt going down hill, but the rest of the day went OK. thanks for watching 😃 👍🏻
@@TheDarkKnightDetectorist Haha yeah, I was literally going to say that you can peak too early sometimes, but looks like you had a great day out. Hope 2024 goes well for you. I'll try and grab a word with you if I spot you at Detectival again 😊
cheers Mick 👍🏻. Great way to finish the years hunting. I'd have been out over Xmas but the weather didn't play ball 😒. oh well, onwards to 2024s finds 🙂👍
thank you Patty, but you are entered anyway. just by commenting, you've entered a legally binding contract to to have a chance at a prize lol. merry Xmas 🍻
cheers Glen 👍. tje mud wasn't sticking too bad, I was just sinking lol. I'm struggling to find socks that will go over my big boots 🤣. have a great Xmas 👍🏻
@williame8202 Find Liaison Officer. Since the treasure act changed, I'm pretty sure anything over 300 years old has to be notified with them. they will decide if it needs to be sent in for recording and passed to a museum. if they decide I can keep it, then it will stay in my display unless the farmer wants it sold and split 50/50 with me. I'd prefer it not to be sold as once its gone, its gone. the likely hood of finding another in that condition is probably unlikely 👍
