Wow! Mangos, coffee, and beer? This was Satoshi's best day ever.😆 Would have been mine too Satoshi. And the area around the temple was absolutely beautiful.
I wish this series on Nakagawa-machi and the Iizukatei hotel didn't have to end. For me, it's been the perfect blend of peaceful, natural beauty; beautiful accommodations; interesting information; lovely people; and delicious local specialties. And, of course, quality time with you, Shinichi and Satoshi. Thank you for making us feel like we're friends on a relaxing adventure with you. ❤️❤️
I wanted to tell you that I was thinking about your channel and the followers. Recently everyone was so nice and supportive in the comments and that's a beautiful thing. I'm very nervous about going back to work in a few days. I cook at a private college and we've been off for the summer. I have serious health issues and it's hard for me to get around and I'm worried about what will change in the next few months because of the pandemic but I love my job and try to do my best. I was watching some of your videos just know a realized how relaxed I was and I wanted to say thank you. You attract kind people to your content with your own kindness. Anyway I wanted to thank you for that.
Natalie was incredibly knowledgeable and what a help to learn more about the area! My one fear of traveling to Japan is not knowing enough about an area to enjoy what it has to offer. Thanks for sharing Shinichi and Satoshi!
And when she realized she was in the background at the beer tasting, she picked up her belongings and disappeared so she wouldn't be a distraction. Very discreet.
Sinichi: “Look at this, this is a wheat field guys”. Me, sitting in Northeast Pennsylvania: “Dude, it’s just whe...oh...pretty”! 😊🥰 *And once again you’ve shown me how to appreciate the beauty of things that I take for granted in my own home state/area* PS. Most of the wheat here is also used for beer. We have many commercial breweries in southeastern Pennsylvania and our farmers supply the east coast breweries. (Stroh’s - Anheuser Busch and P&G)
honestly (and dont hate me for it, im really sorry about it) but im glad i saw your reply because i didnt realise it was a wheatfield. due to his accent (again im sorry) i thought he said it was a weedfield. in my defence i was eating myself and not paying close attention and i looked at my screen and was really confused when i saw the brownness of the field. anyway by seeing your reply, i realise the above. and it makes a whole lot more sence to me. and yes it looked very pretty.
THIS is why traveling in the countryside in Japan is so incredible. There is amazing, high-quality food, you can actually walk/bike places (and get to your destination by train or bus!), and it's just so beautiful. The cities are awesome too, but I think you've missed out if you don't have a chance to get outside the city and experience something like this. I have such a hard time explaining this to Americans because it's so different traveling here--you'd never be able to do this!
Thank you Shinichi & Satoshi for sharing this video with us . The Hotel looked amazing the food looked delicious and enjoyed the cycling around the local area, the scenery was beautiful. The people there were very friendly and helpful including Natalie. Arigato 🙏
My dream is to be in Japan so badly for their Culture, Scenery, traditional food, climate, environment and for Tabieats, seeing this its making me Happy!!!❤
Your videos just like THIS one are your best ones!!!!! Almost 30 mins long! ❤️ You showed us many things and have made us all want to walk in your shoes! And Satoshi San without his hat on is just the icing on the cake 🤗🤗
This area is so dreamy! Feels like a place where the two of you could live happily if you ever get tired of Tokyo 🙂 the area, the pottery, food produce and the people... Everything is just perfect ❤️
Shinichi said "Mmmmm... hello"... just by the look in his eyes I knew I wanted to try the yuba. What a wonderful video you two. Such a great way to relax and refresh. 💕 Thank you for showing us.
Damn this was incredibly shot! Love the music and camera work. Exploring all these different spots with their delicious food looks so fun. Thank you guys.
Thank you for taking us with you on this adventure. I felt like i was on the trip with u and eating all those delicious foods! I hope you both had a wonderful time! 💗
Brilliant series, guys! I would go just to experience Natalie's smile and super service! She is amazing. At Daigo Brewery: Satochi, what is your favorite beer? Satochi: Yes!
I want to visit Japan one day, but as a person who only speaks English, I don't know how I would travel, shop, or visit places without getting lost or have troubles. Such a beautiful town with lovely people and places.
OMG! I salivated throughout this vlog and so enjoyed the tour through the countryside. Great photography throughout and the hotel is a dream escape. An all round marvelous tour and worthy of 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣%. Many thanks for sharing such an enjoyable visit. ♥️ from 🇨🇦
I love how all the Aussies are like, 'Natalie's an Aussie!' Haha In all seriousness though, it looks like a peaceful place and I'd love to visit, along with 30 or so other places because thanks to your videos I have completely fallen in love with Japan and despite being disabled I can't wait for the chance to visit. While I'm new to the comments I have been binge watching your channel for about a month or so now, thank you for showing us the beauty of Japan and all the amazing food.
You guys are so neat, handsome and cool. I love watching you eat and how appreciatively you describe each food, drink and dish. You make me hungry and jealous at the same time! LOL! Don't stop being you.👍😇👍🍲🍗🍜🍡🍣🍤☕🍷🍾
You guys look good! Shinichi, why so handsome? 😉 you look really good with dark shirts. I love this video/series from this place… I didn’t want it to end. Your videos keep getting better and better! I really want to go there and do everything you guys did (and wow you have your own tour guide!) Thank you for taking us with you 🥰
This was wonderful! What a special adventure this was, and Natalie was fantastic - If only all hotels and their staff could provide such a bespoke experience!!
Breathtaking! Thanks for this perfect video, guys! Fautless shots and content! Absolutely loved everything! You both look so happy and glowing! It makes me happy too! I got say again that Satoshi-san looks really handsome without any hat. Please take care! Love u both very much ❤️
I always enjoy these kind of videos. I live in Tennessee, but it feels like I am right there with you in Japan.😃 Satoshi you look nice without your hat😎 Shinichi I hope that your mom is doing well. Thanks guys!🤗
Hi All, This is BY FAR, my FAV episode of TabiEats.. I LOVED EVERYTHING.. I would like to come here and try all the things you showcased... WONDERFUL.. Thank you..
I envy you guys! In Japan, art and artistry is so engrained into every aspect of life aka; culture. I miss Japan! It is sad that so many of the young people of Japan are rejecting Japan's history and culture. Many are lost in western greed. So sad. Thank you both for showcasing Japan's culture, which food is a big part of. The soul of a culture can be found in it's food. So much artistry in the food and it's presentation of Nippon! Banzai desu!🙏✌😄👌 💞💞💞💞💞 Arigatogozaimashita!👍🍙
It's so great to see you guys going out. You guys need it 😃 it's beautiful over there. The foods look so delicious ahh I'm jealous haha Have a great time and stay safe. Hugs 🤗to you both
I miss omurice so much. I know I can make my own and there are certain places locally that sometimes sell them, but it's not the same in terms of quality and ingredient use. That burger looks divine. I may have to try cooking some scrambled eggs with rice mixed in after seeing this video lol.
ALL that food looked amazing. I love that version of Omurice! I love trying fresh craft beers and Yep that was a REAL pretzel. Wow, the concierge went above and beyond making your days perfect!
oh wow! What an adventure! I bet you had a hard time editing the glorious footages! I'd love to eat the kakigore that Shinichi had 🍧👍🏽😱😍 I wish my mango tree was cute and short and abundant with fruits like that one too! Thank you for sharing this with us. Could you feature a video on halal Japanese food? It would be interesting. Gambatte ne!🌼💖😊
While I have limited experience with halal farming practices, the Japanese heavy use of seafood and vegetarian dishes tells me you should not have too much difficulty. I would stick to Japanese style desert though, as many European style deserts use alcohol such as brandy as a flavoring. Some Sauces may also use sake as an ingredient, but are cooked long enough for the alcohol to evaporative off. This may or may not be objectionable to someone. You could always ask not to have the sake added sense the Sauces are usually made when you order.
Absolutely loved this video! It was like accompanying you on the trip. It was especially interesting to me to see the local foods and beverages, and all looked delicious. The countryside was beautiful and peaceful and clean. Thanks for producing such an interesting video!
Hi Satoshi and Shinichi good to see you guy's wow awesome view and delicious food thanks for sharing this video thanks stay safe God BLESS to all of u love guy's
I'm sure a lot of us would love to follow the Tabieats Trail! Everything in this video looks delicious though I'm not sure if I could finish a manju as big as my head :D Really want to try the omurice, yubadon and the kakigori. I cracked up when you were looking at the wheat field and Satoshi could not contain the excitement in his voice. While Shinichi was admiring the beauty of the field of wheat, Satoshi could not get beer out of his mind :D
Love love loved this video. I love all your videos but that was fantastic lots of history which I love and appreciate with some surprising foods Yuba."hello". The smile on your faces and the amazing food and great atmosphere. Was great to watch.
OMG,what a wonder world that i never seen about Japan before this.Good food, good places to visit and what else i can say...its totally heaven!Good job Tabieats 😍👍
Great video! I'm glad Satoshi seems to feel more comfortable about filming without his hat. So handsome! Perhaps one day he will let the camera into his shower... instead of shooing it away! Now really, would that be asking too much? Lol.
Thank you for such a wonderful adventure! You brought me to tears…of joy with making me wish I could go on these excursions someday! I also wish that I could make our place in the US as fun and picturesque! It seems that we probably get bored of our surroundings and need better places to appreciate! Hopefully soon Japan will open up again to travelers from the US!
Wow, what a lovely relaxing video. What an amazing part of the world. You can literally see you both relaxing and detoxing in the video. I was chilled out just watching the video, I’d be positively zen if I ever actually go. Take care both of you.
I Love Love Love This Video Sweet Potato Tempura And Hamburg And That Really Tasty Mango Dish With The Daikon Radish Oh My Goodness Such A True Work Of Art It's So Heavenly And So Beautiful I'm Like Crying Inside With Tears Of Joy Bless Both Of Your Hearts Satoshi And Shinichi U 2 Truly Are The Kings Of Tabi Eats Tasty Treats Thank You So Much For This Incredible Video This Is Absolutely Perfect.😭💧💧😍💖👍👍😎⭐🌟🏆
Such a lovely area! I loved the video about the hotel and this one is amazing again. Beautiful scenery. I would love to go to the first place where the local farmers bring there wares. The manju almost looks like the texture of the ontbijtkoek here. The yuba sets looks interesting, but I never got used to two carb dishes in one meal hahaha Never knew you could make tempura from yuba. Think I'm going to try that sometime. I would like to try the torotoro yuba as well but without the rice. Not that big a fan of kakigori with whipped cream topping but I would try the plum one. I love plums (both ume and the western type. And the beer tasting I would definitely do :) I love that trail map. I think it was like a seven gods pilgrimage :D At least I saw the seven different lucky gods with the temples. Really hope I'll be able to visit this area once.
I'm so glad I found your channel , it's so fun and makes me happy and I get to know a lot about japanese life, food and culture. Thank you for these amazing contents in your both channels 💜
The clips with the sound of the rain are so soothing. This would be a perfect day of touring the countryside for me. Another wonderful video as always!
The type of places I love to go to, but harder for me as I do not know how to bike nor drive on the other side of the road. But I had a lovely time watching you all enjoy your stay.
Loved it!! You really catch the most perfect details, and your music choices made this all the better. Really enjoyed this little getaway. All the food looked amazing, and the people seemed so nice.
This red manggoes tree called " apple manggo" in my city. 70% of houses here have this tree in their backyard. I even have 3 manggo trees with different types.
