Could this possible be the BEST FOUNDATION FOR OILY and even DRY SKIN TYPES?! On today’s video I try out the new Nars Soft Matte foundation + Nars Soft matte concealers to see if its claims are really what it says ( Oil free, sweat proof, transfer proof AND apparently it doesn’t oxidise?) You guys can decide if this really is that power foundation after I do an 8 hour wear test!

Thank youuu! I seriously wish they would all put the foundation color in their descriptions! It would make it so MUCH easier then watching watching 20 videos and fast forwarding till they finish describing the formula that’s in ALL VIDEOS

I wish I could wear nars foundations because some look so beautiful on the skin, but I am fair neutral and there foundations are just so.. yellow Either way too yellow toned, or way too pink toned, and NEITHER of those look flattering on me! I wish they would just make a proper neutral for every shade range they make

Did u find it getting oily or greasy throughout the day? I was using the matt studio fix but I hate it now I just don't like how it made my face look anymore so I wanna try out this one I'm just scared I'll end up looking like a glazed donut 4 hours in the day because I also have very oily skin 😭🤚🏼

Nice review 👍 This is an odd foundation for me. It makes me look older when I first apply, then it looks better an hour or two later and I end up liking it. I am going to try and up the hydration tomorrow before applying and see if that helps.

I have this is the shade Tahoe and it’s a bit too orange! I tried mixing it with the shade Aruba and it was better, however even with a hydrating primer I found it to look stiff on the face. Please recommend a primer that works well with this.

Porefessional hydration primer and Urban Decay All nighter longwear primer. Basically, up your skincare game prior to applying make up and mostly any foundation would go on seamlessly. I have oily combo skin and I struggle with my foundations looking a bit stiff and slightly dry. Solved this issue by changing my skincare routine. Also, make hyaluronic acid your bestie!

This exact foundation is so patchy on me and i don’t know why? I prepare my face really well but in like not even a hour my face get full of spot of foundation and it’s horrible ☹️

IM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING MY SHADE!!!! I usually get tarte shape tape concealer and in the shades 22N light neutral and 29N light-medium together cuz I’m kinda in between the two. I would say I’m way closer to 22N light neutral, but since I’ve never bought any nars products I wouldn’t know what shade I would get for the nars matte concealer. In my profile picture I am wearing the born this way concealer in the shade natural beige, but it’s obvious that it’s not an exact match and looks a little too yellow. Right now I have the nars matte concealer in the shade Marron Glaće in my cart, but I’m afraid to order because idk if it’s too yellow or too light & I really I want it to exactly match my skin tone so I can cover blemishes and pimples while also making it look skin like and a little natural. :(

@@milabeuses ok so I didn’t get any help finding my shade BUT I took a guess and ordered the marron glaće shade for the nars matte concealer which is for light to medium skin with yellow undertones. It should be coming this Friday so I’ll let you know if it’s a close match or way off!

@@milabeuses but i recently stopped using the too faced concealer even tho I’ve been using it for months bc it barely stays on and makes me look rlly oily and caked up. If I were u I would get the tarte shape tape concealer for now in the shade 22n light neutral which is a pretty close match especially when u blend it in. Also a tip to make it look less obvious if it’s not a good match is to just cover ur problem areas instead of ur whole face. I used to cover my whole forehead even tho I only had a few blemishes and now it looks more natural when I only cover the spots. Try that!!

@@milabeuses hey update: sorry if I’m being annoying but the nars matte concealer came in and it was in the shade marron glaće and it’s a complete match for me!!! If you’re still looking for a shade just order this concealer it’s soooo good for covering blemishes and acne. If you want to just cover under eyes it might be too drying so u should get the nars radiant creamy concealer instead. Other than that, the shade is perfect and at first it looks off but when u warm it up with ur finger and rub it around it becomes the right color!!
