this shows that you did not even watched the video! You download the wrong software. This is a sponsored link. You need to download RECUVA from the description!!!
God bless you man! I recovered all my work from the last eight months. Over 500 gb of video, photo and music productions. Can't believe how hard it is to find this kind of software!
@@TheArtmann is this realy working please tell me.. .. i gave my pc for upgrade of processor they format my hdd .. now i want to recover it please tell me... Is this worling 😔
I can't tell you in advance if it's working for you or not. As you can see in the video and in the comments it worked for a lot of people, while for others not. All I can tell u is that is completely free and you can try it for yourself
I just want to say, "THANK YOU". I have tried to gain access to some older files on my camera from fifteen years ago. They were deleted in error and in the past couple of days I've investigated so many recovery programs, virtually ALL want a lot of money for the software. I really can't afford to spend hundreds. I owe you for this video! THANK YOU AGAIN. WORKED PERFECTLY!
Recuva won't work in my case. After recovery of the files, I was not enabled to read them. But it works for me, Windows File Recovery this time. Nicely done. My advice is to try both methods. One of them should work out for you.
Hi. Thanks for your comment and your input. Exactly, that what I suggest as well. Try them both. If windows recover didn't worked for me, but recuva did, it doesn't mean it can't be backwards for someone else
Seriously. Thank you just recovered a shit ton of old photos on a damaged sd card. Some are unrecoverable but it has recoverd several hundred photos for me from 2007. Thanks for the recommendation.
I lost all my GoPro footage that I shot today, it's around 30gb total. Most "free" software is limited to around 200-500gb. So i really hope this works 🙏🏻
I pulled up quite a few of these types of videos before coming across yours. A lot of them have bot "reviews" that don't amount to shit. Yours has actual people asking legit questions and getting good responses. Plus, I like that you sifted through the crap and gave us two good free options. In my case, I formatted over my college flash drive (that had my resumes on it) because I wanted to put my ps3 games on it. I was probably drunk lol. Basically, I thought I could put games on it and still have my resumes and class stuff. I was wrong! But because I had put data over my "old" data, I essentially corrupted the files I wanted. Still, I was able to recover a lot of movies so it wasn't a total loss. And here I am drinking again, so I'll probably make more dumb life decisions. But I'm subbing!
Thank you brother I am going through the same thing. I live in in a 3rd world country where typical cost of these software is a months pay for an ordinary person. Glad to see your video gonna try it.
you told the most useful information / same experience without telling bullshit like other youtubers, you are a savior. Thank you and i hope you get all the luck of your lifetime.
I'm running DiskDrill on a non-bootable drive. Said it found bad sectors. Only 6% percent in and found 3 files in tge recycle bin. If this doesn't work I will be trying Recuva. Thanks!
I didn't have high hopes when I accidentally deleted 80gb of video, but this software helped me recover most of it. Thank you for making this tutorial!
welp i had about 120k files and it at least picked up around 70k so thats better than only getting like 2 and then paying so thank you sir for this video
Yw man! BTW... Check out my last video.. with the Christmas Giveaway... There's a Pro Data Recovery Software there with one year free license. Maybe that'll help you. Cheers!
Thank you so much! Even tho i only managed to recover partially, i'm still very grateful to at least recover some of the family photos! Thanks for saving our time and money! ☺ It was a mess trying to find a free software that worked 😅 it was sad that the drive decided to not work properly...
thank you so much for helping . i had friend his son died a years a go and he deleted the only photos on the drive by accident , he was so happy when he saw the photos . again thank you
Thank you so much. i recovered substantial amount of files that were deleted from my external drive! Thank you for sharing the vide. Big hug and sending immense love and gratitude from the tiny Himalayan kingdom of BHHUTAN.
I'm a music producer I have been working on a project for last 5-6 hours and I want to make copy I accidentally deleted the main file from the pendrive. and deleted file is not shown in the recycle bin but the video and the link really saved my 5-6 hours of work thanks a lot man my overall project was saved .... THANKYOU The Artmann ❤❤
I don’t know how to thank you brother, decade old photos have been finally recovered and it all happened because of you. Thank you so much brother. Love and Respect from India 🇮🇳❤️ I will subscribe you from my whole family’s account. Love you brother ❤️
I am scanning with Recuva now! But before that, I need to ask a Question, don't mind please! Q- 1000+ Photos/Videos that I have recovered through other software, which all are corrupted and can't open! My Question is, Should I delete those files before Recovering through Recuva????
@@TheArtmann you recovered yours with the Windows Recovery one.. and yeah it was useless sadly. But before you found and scanned with Recuva you deleted it again? What should I do with the useless ones, to try another software like you? I dont want to owerwrite them as I delete them AGAIN.
To avoid overwriting (and because it's recommended this way) you heed to install the recovery software on another drive. Sam3 for the recovery process. For example, my problem drive was D, so I installed recuva on C and also on C I did the recovery. If I would need to recover something from C (windows drive) then I would install recuva on D (2nd drive) and also there I would do the recovery
Just came here to say it all works 100%. Tried a bunch of recovery softwares and they ask for money at the end and they take a long time to scan. This software was the fastest, easiest and asked for no money. My only criticism to your video is that it is too long and has too much background story, I skipped pretty much everything until I got to where I wanted. Thanks for the link and the software, but honestly there isn't any need to tell your whole life story about each detail of your journey to get to this software.
Now, at the present, I am aware of this, but back then I didn't know any better :) I know that half of the video is cringe, but I can't change it anymore. Thanks for the critique, by the way.
Thank you very much for sharing. I went through the same process as you and almost ended up buying a sodtware at great cost until I watched your video.
I'm doing this right now! hopefully it will work! Deleted a QUAD HEADSHOT feed on call of duty and it's not everyday u get those.. if it works I will definately leave a like and a sub!
Thank you so much. You saved me so much heartache :) God Bless You! We need more people in this world like you that will share an experience and save us so much time.
@@TheArtmann I am still not able to open any of my files. Do you think I should delete them all again and try to recover again? All my files and pictures say error. Can not open this file, could be corrupted, windows can not open this file. This file is not supported by etc.
This took over 9 hours to scan and I couldn't recover *none* of my documents...It said my documents were unrecoverable. My Windows 11 got corrupted so I had to take it to get repaired and the guy didn't even let me know that I had to replace everything I had put on my computer *including* my important documents.
Sorry to hear that. That's definetly amistake from the tech guy. He should have told you to backup your data. If Recuva can't recover your data, means that it's all corrup. youronly shot is to bring your drive to a data recovery specialist and ope it works. good luck
Thank you so much for this video!! I managed to get back my files that I deleted by mistake I was panicking because all options I found were paid, thanks to you I got them all back!!
Have tried all the one ! Sadly None of them worked for me. i lost my 450 GB of data. Microsoft data recovery tool shows " No recoverable files were found with this mode. Please check /? for more recovery options " Have tried both the one regular & extensive too. Pls guide me.
What I did on my Samsung phone was I " moved " not coppy the Camera Folder from internal drive to SD card, it was big like 40 gig, half way though something interrupted the transfer and I ended up with missing files and some lost files as " LOST.DIR" in the sd card, i payed $130 for Disk DRill to scan the SD card in the computer and it did nothing. Now I am thinking to try to get the stuff back from the phone it self. Any suggestions on android software please?
@@TheArtmann from what i read online, " move " deletes the origional files and the new android is file encryption, meaning if you delete something the encryption key is gone for that file, even if you recover it, with no encyption key, it is not possible to have those files usable, the softwares you mention found some things but i think most of them are on the phone and not deleted
When I did the test for the video it showed me photos and videos that were currently on the phone, but also deleted ones. But to what extent, that I cannot say because I made the test on a phon3 that I don't use very often
I recovered 100 out if 135 videos from a corrupted hardisk. Thank you very much. Although I couldn't recover everything but 100 out of 135 is better than nothing at all. It would cost me 4 times the price if I would have to purchase those softwares coming from an asian country with a low currency such as i am. Bless you.
just calculating time , ita 12 hours ,, after recovering my data ,i will be back on comment section ,, hope i will be back all my deleted data,, thanx in advance...
My hard disk partition was unallocated. So that recuva was not able to access the deleted files. Now, what should I want to do? I want my 140 GB data back...
I HAVE NO WORD'S FOR SAY YOU THANKS . THANK YOU SO MUCH BROTHER ❤️ YOURS SICGUATION AND MY AS SAME I HAVE LOST MY PERSONAL DATA BUT I HAVE RECOVERED ALL VIDEOS AND PHOTOS THANKS A LOT. LOVE FROM INDIA❤️😍
Ohhh thanks a lot dude! I could recover 220k files ==> 400GB . I was about to buy one of those tools but hopefully I found your video. BTW: I never used my External Hard drive before recovering data and I couldn't recover all data because some big files overwrote some others.
Bro thankyou soooooo much. I have watched so many videos and tried to fix this ,none of them worked, but you saved me I have recovered important files from my formated usb 80% of the recovered files will open But * some files* cannot be opened , it says "can't read this type of format " Do you have any solution to read those files???? Please let me know 🙏🏻
Hi. Unfortunately I don't have a solution for that. A recovery software (free or paid) has also it's limit. There are some paid data recovery software which can repair corrupted files.. but I can't vouch that it actually works
I've been using recuva for years, but I came here looking for a better software. Apparently Recuva is the best free one we have. But anyway, your video is excellent. managed to hold my attention until the end.
Doesn’t work for external hard disk which doesn’t open or corrupted. This software works fine on drives which are accessible. I found this software within half an hour and tried doesn’t work on corrupted hard drives.
I really hope this works. I'm trying to get all my data of two years (saw you recommended this video to someone with the same issue), I'll bring you the update!

I would like to thank you for making this video! It was very helpful! I accidentally reformatted my external HDD. I tried the Recuva. It was able to recover the files but sadly most of them couldn't be opened because "the files were damaged". I'm wondering, will those paid apps able to avoid this issue? Or is it generally expected across all recovery apps (regardless if it's free or a paid one)? Again, thank you so much for this video!
i lost me and my girlfriends minecraft world due to downgrading and thought it got deleted i was so sad i was about to cry but this saved my life and got it back tysm
I ran into a big problem, my hard drive is 1Tb and I am pretty sure I have written more than 1Tb of data on it, when I recovered it the data is more than 1Tb and my laptop only has a 1Tb ssd. I feel defeated and feel like I will have to buy a 2Tb hard drive to get the desired data as well as other written data or worse use the hard drive so I will never be able to get it back. Anyone know anyway I can perhaps compress it or shorten the size it takes??
Really thank you so much sir. I really upset because I accidentally reformatted my drive. I thought to ask help with data recovery company. They charge so much. Luckily found your wonderful video. Really works. I recovered my deleted files successfully. Thanks again.
@@TheArtmann I faced this problem ("card cannot be accessed reinsert/change the card or format card with camera") then i format my card then i install your link app this app name is iMy-Fone D - Back For window I installed used scan 100% done and check but there is no any video which i want to Used 😥😵 Recently 4 hour ago i soot my youtube video and cut paste my file in laptop then some file are moved but most of file aren't moved then i got the problem 😥😥 Please sir help me and solved my problem as well as possible 🙏❤️
Just used Recuva and it did recover the deleted files. But whenever I try to open the file, which is a jpg btw, it says "It Looks Like We Don’t Support This File Format". Also used Windows File Recovery and it didn't even detect the files even though I wrote \extensive
i had 864 blender files/material images and all sorts deleted which made the folder absolutely huge so ima use this software and then give an update to see how well it worked
@@TheArtmann well i have an update, the software did get everything back but sadly i dont think it fully supports blender projects, i could see the size, age, and everything about them but they were all corrupt. its alright tho since 80% of them i dont really open much, so its just the 20% im a little sad about, buuut i still have all my images and textures thankfully, i got like 70% of everything back
It does work in windows 10 I got my data Thank you so much and the Cool thing is it’s free it’s a life saver I thought I will lost my data forever thanks a lot it’s really work
@@TheArtmann I am trying again It's take too much time no i just want to recover my SD card photos and videos let's see I will update my comments if it’s work
those r "thumbnails" or cache from websites and apps you previously used. the phone stores stuff like that, so when you visit the respective website/app again it wlll load faster and don't have to render all images and files as new
My brand new 18tb drive died on me all of sudden, no sign that it was going to happen recuva is the only one that worked for me(though I recovered some(not all) files from the OLD hard drive that I transferred from over to my new drive) unfortunate that it was not able to recover directly from my half-dead drive but whatever, my fault for not backing up important stuff on multiple drives I was skeptical but thank you so much omg edit: drive is a WD red, if you want to avoid it, my first and last time with western digital
i used recuva and it corrupted like basically all my files, so i recovered 2 corrupted files and just looked it up if I could recover the corrupted versions and i could but it was lengthy 10 steps. so right now I am scanning with recuva again to see if the files can come uncorrupted, I used "free" software called disk drive but it only let me get 500mb (which is better than some that only offer 100-200) but when I used that most of the files were not corrupted so I got lucky that time around. worst case scenario for me, I have to randomly choose a lot of files and try to uncorrupt them (because the file names all got messed up too) and just see how much I can get back, this is about 700gb lost so wish me luck (I had games but I only really care about some videos, clips, and photos from the past)
When dealing with a corrupt partition that appears as "RAW" in Windows, data recovery can be challenging but is often still possible with tools like Recuva. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to address this issue: Step 1: Avoid Writing to the Disk First and foremost, avoid writing any data to the affected disk. Writing data can overwrite the existing data, making recovery much more difficult or even impossible. Step 2: Use Recuva for Data Recovery Recuva can sometimes recover files from a RAW partition. Here’s how to use it: Download and Install Recuva: Download Recuva from the official website. Install it on a different drive from the one you are trying to recover data from (e.g., install on C: if the affected drive is D:). Run Recuva: Launch Recuva. Select the file types you want to recover or choose “All Files” if you’re not sure. Select the location to scan, choosing the drive that shows up as RAW. Deep Scan: Enable the Deep Scan option for a more thorough search. This will take longer but has a higher chance of finding recoverable files. Recover Files: Once the scan is complete, select the files you want to recover and save them to a different drive than the one being recovered. Step 3: Use Specialized Data Recovery Software If Recuva does not successfully recover your data, you might need to use more advanced software designed specifically for RAW partitions. Some recommended tools include: TestDisk: Free and open-source software that can help rebuild the partition table. Can also recover files from RAW partitions. EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard: User-friendly interface with powerful recovery capabilities for RAW partitions. MiniTool Power Data Recovery: Another tool that can help recover data from RAW partitions. Step 4: Check the Disk for Physical Damage If the software solutions fail, the issue might be due to physical damage to the disk. In this case: Check Disk Health: Use tools like CrystalDiskInfo to check the S.M.A.R.T. status of the drive. Consider Professional Data Recovery Services: If the disk is physically damaged, professional data recovery services may be necessary. Step 5: Attempt Partition Repair (Optional and Risky) If you are comfortable with some risk and have recovered important data already, you might try repairing the partition table: Backup Data: Ensure that all important data has been recovered and backed up. Use TestDisk: Follow TestDisk’s guided steps to repair the partition table. Windows Disk Management: After recovering the data, you can use Windows Disk Management to reformat the drive to a usable state. Be aware that this will erase all data on the drive, so do this only after recovering all necessary data. Summary Recovering data from a RAW partition involves using dedicated data recovery tools, starting with Recuva and potentially moving to more advanced options if needed. Avoid writing new data to the affected drive to maximize the chances of recovery. If software solutions fail, checking for physical damage and considering professional recovery services may be necessary.
