@CornPed I have 1980s Derbi Not a kick start but a pedal start. Having a hard time starting it… when in gear mode(installed a switch for bicycle mode and Moped mode) the tires lock up intermittently so won’t start. Hold down the mini clutch release to make help the rear tire move. Still no start any ideas ?
hmm, does the little decomp release leaver allow the rear wheel to turn easier? It sounds like you either have way high compression or something is catching in the transmission.
I have a Honda amigo that I just rebuilt I find the engine bogs down and doesn’t have full top end. Do you have any tips of what I should look for Besides basic carburetter adjustments
Hmm. I have never seen an Amigo before. It looks like a 50cc 4T. I would check a pit bike facebook group, those use similar engines. Otherwise it would be a lot of things, Clogged exhaust, clogged carb, bad gas?
I got a question about puch maxi clutchbell. After riding long distances my clutchbell comes loose and the clip holding it in place on the crankshaft is fine but not in the right place anymore. I already had this happen to me 2 times now and I dont understand how and why it happens. Its correctly shimmed and i made sure the clip was in the ledge on the crankshaft. Do you have any idea how I can fix this problem?
Its the circlip on the crank? Sounds like its too large? I would make sure you have the correct circlip. Also is the crank aftermarket? The circlip slot might night be deep enough. I have heard of cranks being made wrong.
@@Corn-ped The circlip I use is 15mm, I can try 14mm but I will have to heat the clip otherwise it won't get on far enough. As far as I know its the original crank. Is there a way to make the circlip slot deeper?
@@Corn-ped I know, I am really desperate for a solution. I have a second puch without an engine ready to be painted but now I dont have a normal running engine ;(
