Looks so good! When my husband and I were first married some 20 years ago, French Onion soup was on the menu of many good, local restaurants, and we made it a point of going out every week to a different place to test out the soups. The only ones we didn’t care for were those that were just too salty. The best were the ones with the richest beef broth. This recipe looks fabulous and it may very well lead me to making my own, homemade French Onion soup for the first time. But first, I have to make a great homemade beef broth; I’d hate for all those delicious caramelized onions to be turned into Meh just because of a not-so-great broth. Thanks for the recipe!
