The Allies had total air superiority. Because of that, what about German transportation and movrment? General Field Marshel Rommel was wounded by a Alied fighter aircraft because he was traveling during daylight.

The "best" German soldiers had already been devoured in the Eastern Front meat grinder. By 1944 all that was left were old men and boys held together by a few veterans. Had the Americans faced the Wehrmacht of 1940 the outcomes would have been vastly different.

There's something kind of ridiculous about a posh British accent narrating the supposed experiences of American GIs preparing for D-Day, especially with the occasional mistake in stress or in pronunciation (of a word with the same spelling), which lets you know that it's all done without regard to the meaning of the words being voice-rendered.

For heavens sake enough of the hyperbole. The US were the last off the beaches and went into a hiatus while the Brits and Canucks tried to take Caen The US forces did NOT break out until July 31 54 days after D Day

The American troops on Omaha beach got slaughtered. After they did get off the beach they were faced with the Bocage. They had to capture each row one at a time. It was no picnic.

German medics would fake treat men and signal the location of troops back to their men. Also I don't know if you know this but Germany committed a lot of war crimes themselves.😂
