I'm about to pull the trigger on the Ben Sayers M8 set. I started playing golf about 40 years ago but for the last 20 years, Ive been playing golf only occasionally, and my current set is about 15 years old. Even though I do intend to start playing a lot more golf, I just feel that the Ben Sayers set is going to suit me best!
in general graphite shafts are more expensive than steel shafts, i would advise you to have a fitting to see what suits you best. if the graphite suits you better it would be worth the extra £100 to enhance your game.
It's not something I've tested but seems fantastic value from what I've seen either for golfers getting started or people that want to enjoy themselves on the course with it costing the earth. You're not going to get all the tech and premium feels of the top range stuff, but it still has the Callaway stamp of approval and I think anyways we can make the game more accessible is a win
Callaway's XR range used to be their premium range and has been dialled back with new releases etc, whereas the Edge was built as a great value set to begin with. They're both great options, from a tech point of view, I'd say the XR set is more advanced, hence the higher price point, but the Edge set with Odyssey putter etc is such a good option too especially for the price
@@GolfShopOnline Hi, thanks for getting back to me, thank you for letting me know hopefully future buyers will see this as i think they both look great sets
